Lovely place, well renovated with spacious bedroom and high ceiling. We enjoyed the quietness and the comfortable room. Nice breakfast with local products. Loved Christmas market nearby. In the heart of the city but difficult to access, not by car so call the reception well in advance of your trip for a parking spot.

The hotel is right at the city center, convenient spot and very French-feeling. The hotel is also surrounded by a lot of nice restaurants.

La Villa des Consuls was the perfect base for exploring beautiful Sarlat. We stayed in the Médicis 2-Bedroom Apartment, which was absolutely beautiful, spacious, and featured a fantastic private terrace. The location is unbeatable—tucked away in a historic building just steps from the famous market and an endless variety of great food options. Having access to their garage parking just a short, pleasant walk (less than 10 minutes) away made dealing with a car incredibly easy. A truly wonderful stay!

What a great place to stay in Sarlat Perfectly located to walk everywhere Big rooms , excellent Terrace Valentin went above and beyond to help me out after I learned that my Uber confirmation could not be counted on . We enjoyed the breakfast and our apartment was classy and well equiped . Don't miss the big market days . We would love to stay here again . Thanks again Valentin

Breakfast was a joke. Tiny mid croissants, plain bread, and some boiled eggs for $11 euros a person. Lol. Location is extremely convenient. Staff is nice but is present for about 2 hours of the day. Room had no tissues. Could hear people next door.

Conveniently located hotel. Nice courtyard parking nearby for a fee. Room was large- nice to hear cathedral bells ringing. Kitchen was outdated and we couldn’t figure out coffee ma hone but didn’t need it as shops and cafes just steps away we are on top floor- narrow staircase

Sarlat is a beautiful city, and La Villa des Consuls is an equally beautiful hotel. It has everything: wonderful/helpful staff, brilliant location, excellent service, and great breakfast. Staying at La Villa des Consuls made our visit to Sarlat and the surrounding area memorable.
