When checking in to a Hotel, first impressions are important. It was obvious to me upon check in, the staff at the desk were not interested in or friendly toward their guest. The experience set the tone for the rest of my stay. I should have read the trip advisor comments before booking this hotel. Upon entering my room the bed linens were rumpled and the four pillows on the bed were askew. I contemplated asking for a new room as the bed seemed unmade, but given the negative experience by the front desk staff on check in - I did not. I slept on top of the covers during my stay. Returning late in the evening, the elevators were not working. The staff member on the desk, was completely oblivious and not interested in all the guests waiting for stuck elevators. There was no communication from her about a resolution or what the problem was. Eventually, one elevator started working. Upon checking out, I discovered I was charged for an upgrade request. Something I did not request. The desk staff were unapologetic to their error. This at the end of a frustrating stay. I would not recommend this property. The worst customer service I have experienced and their housekeeping questionable.
