Quite dated but as a hotel in Sassari city there are not many alternatives. For 1/2 nights without big claims it can be fine

I stayed two nights in this hotel for work, half board, bed and breakfast. parking does not exist, normal welcome, when we got to the room, I noticed that for a 4 star hotel the mini bar was empty, and usually there should be some snacks and drinks. the bathroom is large, but uncomfortable like the shower doors that you can open from the outside, but there are no handles inside the shower cubicle. fixed shower head and dirty with limescale. Phone a little old, the tissue holder for hygiene after the toilet, awkward position, as it is a simple tissue puller, not a roll of toilet paper next to the toilet. dark room, only one small lamp on the wall and not on the ceiling, very noisy air conditioning and it didn't heat. abundant breakfast of pastries, cakes, juices, friendly and kind waiters.

The hotel shows the signs of time, it certainly was a well-made hotel when it opened, now it needs renovation, especially the carpeting in the rooms (at least in mine). For the rest the value for money is excellent. The cuisine is good. Particular praise goes to the staff (worth at least one more star in my opinion), very kind and efficient in satisfying my requests.

Staying in this hotel is always a more than positive experience. In this structure you can still enjoy true old-fashioned hospitality, where the customer is at the center of attention. A staff (from reception, to refreshment, to cleaning, practically everyone) that reflects the highest standards of professionalism enriched by courtesy and kindness. This makes this hotel unique. For the rest, the location is more than favorable, reserved parking, cleanliness at the highest levels. It's worth all its stars but I add at least 10 hearts. Highly recommended. So there are limited hotel options in Sassari, but there is NO WAY this is a four star (self-described) hotel. I had a suite and it wasn’t all that sweet. The room is dated, except for the bathroom which is nice, but terrible towels—rough and over-used. The staff was very friendly and the room was pretty clean. Free parking is nice but €150?!?! In November? Come on man. We stayed at a hotel called the Doglio in Cagliari for €25 more a night and the difference is indescribable. Oh and the toilet paper was in a dispenser, one sheet at a time.

It is a 4 star hotel but in Spain it would be 1 or 2. The wall of the room was dirty and chipped, the shower head was broken, the hairdryer was from the year 1100, a body towel was cracked, the mattress was uncomfortable and it had carpet. , so that bacteria proliferate well. The lousy breakfast, one of the worst in Sardinia. I certainly don't recommend it, not even because of its location.
