Unfortunately our spa experience just wasn't as advertised and promoted. Firstly it's a lot of money for a package day at st brides. My sister and I treated our mum for her birthday. We paid for the spa and lunch package. Lunch was wonderful, no complaints. Staff lovely. However the spa was a real disappointment. The Thermal pool felt really cold although staff said it was to correct temp (in a response email). There was a food festival going on outside the hotel which when we booked, we weren't notified of this. If we had we would of chosen a different day. The spa manager said she felt it wasn't necessary to notify us (In a response email) The noise was heard more when my mum and I had a facial... the spa music was competing with the food festival noise. This was a massive shame when paying just under £200 for 2 55minute facials. The facial itself was also disappointing... It felt very rushed! And was very underwhelming for the price we paid! We all left feeling really disappointed with the whole spa experience. It's such a lot of money to pay and we feel a lot of money wasted. I have emailed the spa directly to raise my concerns of our day and unfortunately felt it was simply "brushed under the carpet" I am currently waiting upon another response from the spa manager after asking for a partial refund which I feel seems fair.

Still lovely, had a great 5 nights here. Loved having breakfast and dinner enjoying that view. Very nice staff. The lady serving and chef always helpful. Some nice dinners (maybe the choice could be a little more extensive). Spa treatments were excellent. Rejuvenated by a 5 night stay in such a lovely place. Only 4 stars because I think one or two areas need a bit of a spruce up ( cleaning and painting) Looking forward to returning.

Unenthusiastic staff. Overall tired and lacking in wow. Shame could be so much more. Room was grubby. 2 out of 3 breakfasts were cold. Not all spa facilities available. Expensive. Disappointing for what should have been a special 50th birthday celebration. Would not recommend.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a room with a sea view - the view was amazing and so was the room . We also had complimentary spa visits included which was great - so relaxing and worth doing . Our only moan was the breakfast - the full english is ordered when you sit down - you would expect it to be hot and cooked properly however this wasn’t the case . The first day the breakfast was warm and acceptable but the second day the hash browns were hard and cold - the sausage was cold and tasted funny along with the bacon. The third day we didn’t bother with the full english breakfast However overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place

My wife and I stayed Friday 4th and Saturday 5th September for the occasion of my birthday. This was the fourth time that we had stayed at the Spa in the past 18 months but the first time since being taken over by Celtic Holidays so were curious to see what changes, if any, had taken place. We got to our room and there was a birthday card and a box of chocolate truffles on arrival which was nice. We had our 90 minutes in the spa on the Friday which was quiet and relaxing. We did note that one of the steam rooms wasn't operating but this wasn't an issue and had been rectified by the following day. On Saturday we had our spa session at 1pm for 90 minutes. This was far busier than the previous day - not unexpected given it's the weekend - however I understood that there was a maximum number of 12 people that could be in the spa at any one time. There were certainly more than this during this time and understand there were some groups of people who had booked for afternoon tea. The infinity pool became quite crowded and somewhat noisy, not ideal given the tranquil setting. (I'm sure guests who are paying a lot of money to stay at the hotel don't want to hear about your teenage kids menstruation issues!!). The other issue was the guests bringing mobile phones into the infinity pool. I get it, you want a photo with the view of the superb view over the bay to plaster on social media. However its just generally rude & annoying. I thought it was policy that mobile phones weren't allowed in the spa area at all? We both had a neck, back and shoulder massage in the dual treatment room following our spa session and this was wonderful (thank you to those involved). The cost of the treatments was added to our bill but was slightly taken aback at being charged £65 each - I'm sure we'd paid less than that having had similar treatments previously - it used to be £45 from recollection but I could be mistaken. We came down to the bar before our evening meal in the restaurant. The tables were sticky and didn't appear to have been cleaned properly. The draft beers are reasonably priced but the charges for spirits are steep, particularly as 10% service charges are added on top. There is no longer a cocktail menu but the bar staff will make them up if requested. We had our meal in the restaurant that evening. The build up wasn't helped by the group of 4 people who walked in to the bar around 7pm already drunk, loud and lairy. They swore loudly & constantly throughout their time in the bar & restaurant and whilst it didn't spoil our evening necessarily they really shouldn't have been allowed into the hotel at all. It probably spoilt the experience for the other guests dining at that time also. (If you are intelligent enough to read perhaps next time you could just get a kebab or go to the chippy?!!). The food itself was ok. However the scallops I ordered now come with a £4 supplement and you get 2 of them instead of 3. The lamb was ok but a rack of lamb tends to sugge

Hotel has a Smallish carpark at the top of a steep hill, but the rewards are a fantastic view over Saundersfoot and carmarthen bay. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. It is open to non residents too. Well worth a visit

Unfortunately, our stay at St Brides was disappointing. We were really looking forward to a nights stay in luxury accommodation to end our holiday in West Wales however it fell short of expectations. Given how much they charge, the hotel rooms are starting to look tired and in need of freshening up. We paid for a double room and whilst the view was lovely they advertised all rooms to have amenities such as tea and coffee including a nespresso coffee machine. Our room did not have a nespresso machine, only packet instant coffee and two breakfast tea bags. There was a lack of atmosphere in the bar and the bar staff were unable to produce a cocktail/drinks menu when we asked for one saying they didn’t have any menus. The spa overlooking the bay was nice but a certain spa staff member was rude and seemed annoyed they had to show us around when we first arrived for our 90min session. The breakfast was average at best. The continental aspects were better with freshly made croissants and little pots of jam. However, the cooked breakfast was pretty awful, with hash browns that were clearly frozen and reheated multiple times making them a stale chewy texture. Something you would expect from a roadside cafe, not a 4 star hotel. Good points. The reception staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The views are pretty stunning and the location great. The spa itself was quiet and relaxing. However, it is definitely not worth the £250+ they charge for 1 nights stay. Hugely disappointing.

We went to St Brides Hotel for our honeymoon and my wife’s birthday. It was everything we wanted and expected. It is close to the local shops and restaurants with the only drawback being a steep walk back to the hotel from town. The staff are professional and helpful and the food is good. Our room was clean and tidy with a balcony which overlooked the bay. It is expensive but you pay for what you get and you get a lot.

Superior king-size room balcony sea view didn't disappoint fabulous stay everywhere was spotless and staff very helpful. Complimentary use of spa facilities which you book a slot so not overcrowded. Didn't eat at the restaurant so can't comment but breakfast was lush and plenty of choice will definitely be returning.
