The Alida, Savannah, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The Alida was amazing, along with their crew. Saint Pats was well done by all. Clean, charming rooms and location with everything you need within 5 mins walking distance. We’ll done Alida.

We have stayed at The Alida multiple times a year for a while now. It is a great hotel. We love the quaintness. The hotel has a cool, but hip vibe. The champagne happy hour is fabulous. The Lost Square and Trade Room are some of our favorite bars anywhere. We love breakfast and the smash burger at the Rhett. In our most recent visit (3 nights) our room wasn’t ready at 4:30pm. It wasn’t ready until around 5:30. Not a huge deal. But we are returning guests. Multiple night stay. Very upgraded room purchased. Getting the car from valet took 40 minutes one morning. It wasn’t always that slow. But it was always slow. Housekeeping didn’t come one day and I received a text around 3:30 that it was because we had Do Not Disturb sign out. I replied that we did not have the DND out and please attend to the room. We had back to back events that day. When we returned to hotel, around 5 it was still not attended. When we returned that evening housekeeping had been. Thankfully. All these are small things. Our room faces River Street (water view). Unfortunately, it was also directly across from Electric Moon. Which is lively during the day but really gets going around dark. And they keep going and going and going. It finally settles down around 2am. The noise from Electric Moon combined with the street noise from River Street kept us up all night. I think we will try another hotel on our next trip.

The hotel is super clean and smells amazing when you walk through the front doors. The front desk, Alex, greeted us warmly and took great care of us. She even found my daughter's wallet and put it in the hotel safe for safekeeping. The room was spacious and well-kept. We loved the pool and the rooftop bar! Breakfast at the Rhett was spectacular, and the other bars were also great experiences. The hotel is located within walking distance of all the wonders of Savannah. I do have to mention that although the hotel and staff were amazing, the fee for valet parking (which is the only parking they have) is $51/day. If you have more than one vehicle, you can see how things add up very quickly. I would also say that the activities fee of $35/day is a bit extensive as there is no activity other than bike rentals, and perhaps the gym is included in this fee. We were told the water is part of the "activity fee." I think these fees are steep and can place extra burdens on families. However, I do have to mention that we received a $35 voucher each night to use at the bar, which would negate the activity fee. I am unsure if this is just for Marriott members or all guests. It has great staff, a great location, and a clean, modern hotel. I would recommend it! Thank you to the management team for creating such a great team, and special thanks to Alex for taking extra care to ensure we were happy with our stay. We will be back.

This was our first time staying at the Alida hotel in Savannah and we CAN’T WAIT to go back!! It is a beautifully decorated hotel with a fabulous location just steps from River Street. The rooms were very clean and spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom was very nice and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We really liked the water filling stations on each floor and the hotel even provided little water bottles for us to fill at the stations. They have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely be back very soon!!!

Clean/nice in a great area

We stayed here on a girls trip and had the best time! The rooms are spacious and the beds are so comfy. We picked this hotel because of its location AND double king beds. Extra perks are that the hotel smells amazing, they give free food and drink vouchers at the downstairs bar, and the ground floor restaurant, Rhett, is incredible! Olivia was super helpful on the phone and Sean was very accommodating in person. Oh and the hotel is right by stop 14 on Old Savannah Tours which makes the trolley ride so easy. Definitely stay here if you come to Savannah.

We enjoyed our stay at The Alida. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great for walking ever we wanted to go. Had a nice breakfast at Rhett, after dinner drinks at theTrade Room, and enjoyed the pool afternoons after strolling around for the day. Unfortunately the roof top bar was closed for a private event, but no big deal.

Great hotel, great food and service. The biscuits and gravy were amazing. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating our entire trip. Grant, the valet went above and beyond helping us everyday he was working. Made our stay extra special.

In 8 days we stayed in three hotels in different areas. Savannah was the last destination and my daughter has selected Alida hotel to stay in. We are very happy with this choice. Amazing location. The staff was super friendly, the accommodations just superb! Our room was very spacy and well designed/equipped. Wonderful beds, and very quiet AC unit provided the best nights sleep for us. I must mention the bar and the restaurant - the breakfast menu was not large, but each dish was very well done! We were very surprised with taste and freshness of all veggies on plates. So overall it was an excellent experience for us and we'd recommend this hotel to all friends.
