The Alida, Savannah, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The Alida was amazing, along with their crew. Saint Pats was well done by all. Clean, charming rooms and location with everything you need within 5 mins walking distance. We’ll done Alida.

It’s VERY dark inside the hotel and individual rooms. I get it’s an industrial vibe, but geez put some brighter bulbs in the rooms so your guests can see. Luckily I brought my own lighted make-up mirror and used as a light source. No ironing board or iron unless you call and ask for it. The iron and ironing board cover were so dirty and gross I chose not to use. Went to Target and purchased my own. Hair dryer was old, dirty and barely worked. The amount of hangers and closet space were lacking. Not really closets, more like cubbies. The beds were very uncomfortable with sunken areas. Would I stay there again?? Absolutely not. Not up to Marriott/Bonvoy property standards. On a positive note, most of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The roof top bar is a nice area overlooking the river and downtown area. Good food and excellent staff at the restaurant. The downstairs bartenders were very friendly as well.

Great boutique hotel that has an amazing location! Sean at the front desk was super accommodating and the drinks and music at the bar were great! The pool area is small but they serve fabulous cocktails! Don’t miss the cappuccinos and yummy breakfast at the Rhett! Ask for Taylor as your server .. he was terrific!

fantastic Hotel. The best thing about this hotel is definitely their staff. Thank you to Jackson ,Thad,Storie,Naria, at valet. Special things to shawn when I checked in. Big thanks to Jack at the bar and everyone else that helped us throughout our state. The staff is definitely The strength of this hotel. The location is perfect and the hotel is so clean. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you to everyone.

Nice hotel in an excellent location near the waterfront with very nice staff. However, I would not consider it again. It seems poorly maintained and not clean. Our first room had an A/C thermostat that didn't work. While we waited for them to try to fix it, the repair man took off the grate and exposed the filter which was absolutely disgusting. The dust was two inches thick on both sides. It may not have been changed in years. Afterwards we were told to change rooms as it couldn't be fixed. They told me the room had a refrigerator for my medication and it did not. It had a chill drawer which is not a refrigerator and it didn't work anyway. When my wife attempted to make coffee in the morning, her hand went on the back of the machine and came back brown from all of the caked-on coffee mist. Again...disgusting. Side-note....$51 per night for parking!!!! really?

I booked a room using my Bonvoy points but saw a $91.37 charge on my credit card. When I called, I was informed that parking was $55/night and the remainder was amenities. I asked if there were alternative parking besides their valet and was told you could park in the city. I asked what the amenities charge was for and it was explained that covers items such as the $37 voucher to their bar, a champagne welcome, the water stations, & rental bikes. So the $37 'voucher' is not really a voucher. I asked what if we don't use any of these amenities? Well everyone pays, whether you use it or not. Unbelievable! Not happy with that.

Boutique feel hotel with GREAT staff. Each service provider was professional and friendly! Our suite corner room was clean, had great decor with a QUIET AC unit! Great river area location with access to the other JW properties. We will definitely be back!

From the moment we walked into the hotel, we were greeted by Alex and Alejandra with a smile, and a pleasant and accommodating attitude. The room was great, the bed was comfortable, and the service was top-notch. We spent time at the rooftop bar while the DJ was spinning and enjoying the breeze on Friday night. However, the most underrated part of our stay was the pool and the pool area. The pool, by design, slopes to a depth of no more than 3 ft. It's perfect for adults who simply want to wade in the water and feel some sense of weightlessness. Melvin, at the bar, was a great host. You can't go wrong at this hotel.

Our stay at The Alida was absolutely amazing! We loved the location near River Street, navigating to local restaurants and shops with ease. We experienced some pleasant surprises daily during our week stay, from the "book nook" in our room to the cabana style pool area fully equipped with towels, a sunscreen station, bar, and full gym, we were impressed at every turn! The attention to detail is palpable and truly appreciated. We were able to turn a business trip seamlessly into a family trip (with a crazy toddler) without any extra effort. Thanks, Alida!
