Nice hotel. Location was in close proximity to the historic riverfront area; however, it was also just across the street from low income housing. While our first floor room had nice, high ceilings, we were awoken before 6am in the morning due to thin walls, no carpeting, and a large gap at the bottom of the door; workers in the hallway were chatting. I would possibly stay here again but definitely not on the first floor. Also, I would not purchase breakfast here. The omelet was subpar as was the service. I made my own tea. After it should have properly steeped, I took a sip. It was cold. I went back to the insulated pitcher marked “hot water” and poured another cup. It, too, was cold. Ironically there was no other water. I had to ask for a regular cup of water, which was brought to me from the kitchen, even though everything else was on the buffet.
