Stopped in Savannah on my way to a family graduation. The Eliza Thompson house was a delightful place with a great location. It was easy for me to walk around and see the sights, shop and many great places to eat nearby. The breakfast was delicious, the evening wine hour was a perfect way to start the evening and the dessert/coffee hour was great! The employees were very accommodating to meet any need! I highly recommend this place!

This place was a true authentic Savannah experience. Jones Street is beautiful in itself and the Eliza Thompson House was fantastic. The whole experience from the lodging, amenities, staff was pretty much everything we hoped it would be. It was so nice after a long day of walking and exploring to come back to the quiet beauty of Jones Street and this home.

I LOVED the location on this beautiful street in the middle of the historic district that was walkable everywhere we wanted to go. It is a historic property so a little dated but you get a lot of little extras (hot breakfast not a buffet, afternoon wine/cheese, evening dessert and Port).

A beautiful property within the historic district. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, tastefully decorated and well-appointed with period furnishings. An excellent breakfast available each morning in a beautiful courtyard with fountain. Wine and hors d'oeuvres each afternoon, and desserts later on. A great experience and a good value.

we were most disappointed that the booking listing did NOT mention that we were booking a windowless room; actually there was one window, but it was fully blocked by an outside staircase; so the property could claim our room not fully windowless. it was still exceptionally dark.

The location of the property was great. Very convenient to restaurants. The staff for the most part was was friendly. Front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful.

The people and the location make this a wonderful place to stay. The amenities - breakfast, wine and cheese happy hour and dessert - add to the mix. Be aware that the courtyard rooms are small and the AC a bit noisy. All worth putting up with. Also read the fine print because the cost advertised doesn’t include the “amenity fee” for breakfast, etc. Although the lack of transparency is off putting, the quality of the service and location make up for it.
