This hotel had a great historic vibe. The high ceilings and large windows made the lobby bright and welcoming. Upon check-in we were provided complimentary water and a ticket for a free drink at the Tandem Bar. - I had the "Ruby Red" which was delicious! Our King room also had high ceilings, was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and if I ever get to go back to Savannah I would stay at The East Bay Inn again:)

Loved our visit here! It is a beautifully maintained hotel in a great location. When we parked our car, we didn't move it for 2 days. However, keep in mind it is an old building and there are things that cannot be helped. Great location means a little road noise. We were facing Bay Street so the traffic could be heard easily. Also, the floors were very creaky with almost every step so being on a lower floor, you WILL hear them walking above you. They are nice enough to supply earplugs though.. They have a drink ticket for each night you stay which is very nice, and discounts on nearby restaurants. We ate breakfast almost everyday at Deb's the food is great there. We will be back to stay at the East Bay Inn again just for the atmosphere and the friendly people there!

Lovely property! The lobby was very pretty and our room was beautiful. We loved the furnishings, including draperies and art. Nice bathroom with a good shower and plenty of hot water. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Keurig coffee maker. Coffee and tea in the lobby. It was very nice to have both a bar and restaurant connected to the hotel. We ate at the restaurant once, for lunch, during our stay. The food was good and servers friendly. Really enjoyed the location near the river and close to the historic district.

We loved visiting the East Bay Inn in Savannah, Georgia. All of the staff and lovely people were very welcoming and gave us beautiful rooms. It’s a very historic hotel as well, and was very close to all the things that you can’t wait to see! I would definitely go there again, and again, hopefully I will!

We choose this Inn because we wanted to stay in a historic building in the historic district. The staff was excellent and genuinely asked about our trip. Beautiful views facing Bay St. but there is traffic noise and pedestrian noice (ear plugs are provided). For us this is not an issue and the location can not be beat. We were there 3 nights and used our car once.
