B&B magnifique. Six chambres d'une qualité inégalable !! La décoration est réalisée avec goût et soin à l'européenne. La propriétaire et ses deux employés sont d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Nous avions pris la suite, qui est incroyable. Le B&B est situé à 100 mètres de la plus belle plage que nous avons vue dans tout le Costa Rica ❤️❤️ Merci à vous

Me quede con mi esposa para disfrutar de la zona y resultó que fue una estadía maravillosa. Lettika fue una excelente anfitriona junto con Dama y Teddy. Un lugar lleno de energía hermosa. La gran cantidad de perezosos de dos y tres dedos así como la manada de monos cariblancos son parte de la estadía. Muchas gracias por compartir su maravilloso lugar con nosotros.

Tres bon séjour dans ce b&b, bien situé près de la plage dans une impasse. La chambre double n'est pas très grande mais il y a tout ce qu'il faut et le patio est très agréable. L'accueil de l'hotesse est très sympa et elle est de bons conseils pour la decouverte de la région. Nous avons aussi eu l'occasion d'avoir un spectacle des singes voisins dans le jardin. Pour finir le petit déjeuner est fabuleux avec des plats maisons dont un très bon smoothie ! En conclusion, addresse qui mérite bien sa très bonne note !

Lettika and her staff were warm and welcoming. Our accommodations were very nice, clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent! We would definitely stay with them again.

Diese B&B ist die absolute Sensation. Bestens geführt von Lettika und Gijs. Die beiden wissen, was sie tun. Stellen zwar klare Regeln auf. Dies ist jedoch zum Vorteil aller. Der Garten sehr gepflegt. Der Pool extram sauber, die beiden Angestellten Dama und Erik ??? extrem freundlich und fleißig. Gutes Frühstück, gute Betten. Jedes Zmmer äußerst gepflegt. Es funktioiert hier alles. Die Sanitäranlagen äußerst sauber und funktional. Alles in Allem das Beste das Matapalo zu bieten hat. Wenn wir wieder unsere Freunde in Matapalo besuchen, buchen wir unter Garantie wieder hier. Danke Lettika und Gijs P.S.: Hoffentlich lesen diese Bewertung nicht zu viele Menschen. Sonst werden die nächsten Buchungen für mich zum Hürdenlauf. *gg*

This B&B is gorgeous. Super clean and you are catered to and taken care of daily. The caretaker Dama always made beautiful figurines with towels daily and kept all very clean. Teddy is an amazing right hand who went above and beyond with us and was patient and kind. We learned so much about wild animals while there. He shared a video with us he took at night taken of a Kinkajou right at the property. There were monkeys all over the trees and they made a show that was so much fun. The sloths are so adorable and we saw a family of them sleeping. Their gardens are like paradise/jungle with abundant flowers and vegetation all very beautiful and organized. Such a pleasure to open our eyes in the morning to see this beauty all around us. The owners are very kind and welcoming. They thrive to make you happy and tended too. The breakfast a delight that has to be tried to describe. The homemade bread and homemade marmalade are delicious and exquisite. The Dutch pancakes as well. All natural and healthy. Smoothies were yummy too. I strongly recommend this B&B if you are in the area or even close by… The Matapalo Beach has that black volcanic and which make your feet feel like velvet. Beautiful breathtaking sunsets. Man we really want to come back to Costa Rica and stay at Jardin De Los Monos. You should too.

Before I begin, this review is from the point of view of two females in their 30’s not traveling with kids: This bed and breakfast was simply amazing. The area was safe and quiet, with a beautiful beach walking distance and a market and restaurant 5 minutes away. There were lots of wildlife around including sloths, monkeys, macaws, squirrels, hummingbirds, and lots more. Lettika was an amazing host, she made us feel truly welcomed, any questions we had or anything that was needed was a simple message away or she was usually on site. The breakfast was delicious and fulfilling and they truly made you feel at home. The room was spacious, clean at all times, the AC worked really well and there was hot water. The pillows and beds were comfortable. The patio had a hammock and plenty of space to relax after all our adventures (wearing bug spray is a must outside!) we rented a car and it was the wisest decision we made as we had freedom to roam around and public transportation is a long walk from the bed and breakfast. If we had a choice to come back, we would pick this bed and breakfast with no questions asked.
