Lakeside Country Inn

My adult daughter and I stayed over night last Saturday night (June 2021). We were in town for my brothers surprise birthday party. When we checked it in we went to the room to drop our stuff and when we opened the room it was spectacular. So bright, cool (they had the AC on for us already so the room would be a perfect temp as it was record hot temps outside) and CLEAN. We were so impressed with it. There was a hand written welcome note to us by the owner. The view is amazing and the grounds are so spectacular. I can't wait to return for a retreat type relaxing time where I can really enjoy the different seating areas among the beautiful flower gardens. The grass is like a carpet and the water off the dock is really clear. I can imagine if you have a boat this would be a fantastic place to stay. The queen bed I slept in was extremely comfortable, to the point where I want to buy the mattress pad for my bed at home. I had such a good sound sleep. Best sleep I had had in days. I have slept in some expensive resort hotels and this beautiful little Country Inn tops them all by far. The owner Margaret was so pleasant and cheerful to deal with. Extremely accommodating. I didn't have a chance to enjoy the food but I hear it is so delicious. I will most definitely be back!!! You can count on it.

We had a lovely stay at Lakeside Country Inn . Margaret and Don were very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable for our night stay on the way to the Rockies. The room was perfect, very comfortable with lots of attention to detail and a little terrace to enjoy the views of the lake and the beautiful garden . Margaret recommended Tobiano Golf Course restaurant to eat and that was another find on our holiday – lovely staff and fabulous food and what a view ! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the beautiful breakfast room overlooking the lake and also had time to chat with Margaret and Don before we resumed our journey . Thanks for having us - would highly recommend !

This B&B was amazing. Beautiful grounds and spotless rooms with attention to detail overlooking the lake. There was a balcony for sitting out with coffee in the morning. Delightful conversations! We spent a couple of nights here while touring British Columbia.

This small privately run B&B is a real gem. It is right on Kamloops Lake and has beautifully maintained grounds. We had a wonderful family room with a kitchen and a large balcony with a wonderful view of the lake. Every detail in this hotel is chosen with love and everything is totally clean. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast, which was personally served by Margret and Don - it was just fabulous. This hotel alone is a reason to travel from Germany to Canada again!!! Our first time at a B & B, I can't say enough good about this place. It was spotless clean and the rooms, buildings and grounds were immaculately maintained, Pride of ownership and guest comfort came through with the first "hello" to the last goodbye. Margaret and Don are great hosts and provided us with a memorable stay and experience.
