"Stayed at the property for 2 nights, it was near to the Hakata Canal City with many restaurants and nightlife. An afternoon tea set is available once PER STAY. The room is also spacious and comes with an ironing board, a fan and even a light ring.Onsite parking is 2500 a day, park at the public carparks nearby at a lower rate. Cons: It is quite a walk from the train stations, especially during summer when the heat is crazy. The room was extremely warm and lack ventilation, the air conditioner is only able to go down to 23 degrees. They provide a fan in the room, which shows they probably know the issue, appreciate the gesture but it still gets really warm in summer. Also found a piece of plastic packaging on the floor when we checked in, but overall quite clean."

"17min walk from Hakata JR station or 15min walk from Gion subway station (Exit-5), walk Giono Street & pass by the famous FUKUOKA RAMEN :). As you arrive, you are away from street noise and crowds, facing a tranquil ‘Naka’ river. Lucky us we got Blue blue skies! The pinnacle in AUTOMATION!! You get an email with all instructions on how to enter building, room operations all in English and detailed (Japan). Freezing, but soon the aircon was set for 25°C we were comfortable. Everything clean and in its place. Beds & pillows comfortable and clean. TV local channels immerses you into the Japanese cult….. ‘honto’ Canal City Hakata is 5min walk. They have everything from food, restaurants, ATMs, games area. We liked it very much."

"Excellent service with a full board - Buffett line for breakfast, lunch afternoon tea and dinner. Rooms were larger than most Japanese hotels. Great location to both hakata and Tenjin. Located in an area with plentiful restaurants. Easy access to everywhere. On a separate note the hotel is designed super trendy and chic with high attention for details. Only 2 con is the pillows thought was too small and too soft would have preferred if they had a selection to accommodate sleeping preferences. The other con is noise if you are someone who can’t tolerate noise from the outside as the hotel sits right at the bridge where there’s a big food truck open space and there’s lots of independent singers and entertainers which the noise could disrupt your sleep If your rooms face that direction and you are an early sleeper"

"The room is quite small, and it’s a bit difficult for two people to open their suitcases at the same time — we had to take turns. Other than that, everything was very good. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. I had seen reviews mentioning ikura, but it wasn’t available during my stay, which was a little disappointing. Still, I was overall very impressed."

The rooms are quiet and spotlessly clean, and you have the flexibility to choose whether you'd like daily housekeeping. The top floor has a communal bathhouse where you can enjoy a hot spring soak to wash away your fatigue. The Japanese-style breakfast, convenient transportation, and the hot spring bath are definitely the biggest highlights."

"The room was quite spacious, as it's a hotel-style apartment, which is a bit different from a regular hotel. There was a Chinese-speaking assistant at the front desk, so communication was no problem. I didn't see any non-smoking rooms when I booked, so I'm not sure if they were fully booked, but for a non-smoker, a smoking room really reeks, and they don't seem to do any smoke treatment. The decor is a bit old-fashioned, with no smart features, but it was an experience to see that 'old money' style. The parking lot next door is quite expensive, around 1500-1600 yen a day, but you can enter and exit freely. You might find cheaper parking a bit further away. It's very close to the Fukuoka Urban Expressway, right after you exit. Nishijin Station is about a ten-minute walk, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options around there."
