The Landing Hotel at Rivers Casino & Resort

The hotel itself was very nice but the pile driving noises outside the window were really annoying. Hopefully next time I stay we don’t have to hear that at 8 am when we just wanted to sleep in. The bed was very comfy and the shower was super nice.

This 5 star Review is strictly for the hotel and its staff. There was a total of five of us that got three rooms for two nights. Upon arriving, it was very quick and easy to sign in and get to our rooms. The rooms themselves were exactly the way it’s described on the website. Along with being clean, reasonably priced for being right in the ******. Can even save some money with navigation on the website depending on current offers! Unfortunately our stay was cut drastically short due to the ****** security not accepting valid NYS IDs because of alleged appearance problem and a odd middle name for another. For the record everyone was of age and none were expired. After standing there for 20+ minutes waiting on a supervisor for the floor to come and verify many different ways which were all answered correctly, we witnessed a smirk and an obvious face of joy denying two of our family members entry permanently. Extremely disrespectful and a lack of care on her part. But then again I guess we should have expected this kind of thing happening from glorified door greeters who are in need of some serious training. After being dismissed and exhausting all efforts to have a rational conversation about their mistakes, we promptly went to the hotels front desk and spoke to an employee about our situation. Unfortunately I do not have a name for her, but she went out of her way to reach out and confirm we were denied entry. She even agreed with us but nothing could be done due to the ****** supervisor power trip. She happily refunded the 3 rooms in full without a cancellation fee. Also apologized for everything we went through and wished more could have been done. We would have loved to still stay but everything aside from the hotel is locked behind the ******s security check. So a huge thank you to the hotel staff for the professionalism and kindness. Hopefully this review helps future people. If you are of age but look young, good chance you will be denied. Same thing goes for any part of your name that does not fit their definition of normal. If they are in a mood, they will give you extra headaches to make themselves feel important. And remember, even if you’re doing everything right you can be denied and nothing can be done. I’d like to say we will try this again in the far future but that does not seem likely. Terrible first time experience for us.

Clean, neat room. Temperature was comfortable and easy to regulate. Very quiet hallway. Very comfortable bed and nice clear TV. Sufficient lighting and nice decor. Would have liked water offered at front desk upon arrival and/or departure.

HORRIBLE We drove FOUR hours to be declined at ******. My license expired 04/18/2024 and they couldn’t accept my husbands license and temporary one as he lost it. I was going to get a temporary license but they wouldn’t accept that. We couldn’t even eat at the restaurant we had reservations for BECAUSE THEY WOULDNT LET US IN Terrible and the security was beyond RUDE will never be coming back and letting others know to save their money and go to AC instead Only good thing was the margarita I had You can let me check in and serve me alcohol with my expired ID but not enter the ****** ? FOH

The room was very clean and modern and although the bathroom did not have a tub, it was very stylish and classy. I enjoyed the walk-in shower, but the shower head was terrible. Also, the king bed was nice, but I thought the mattress was hard and not very comfortable. I did like that there were plenty of towels available for a two-night stay and I did not have to ask for room service. I am disappointed that the room did not have a coffee maker. I also found that there was only one ice maker on the first floor, so it was inconvenient for me to have to search for it (no signs on the floors) and then have to travel down to a common space to get ice for my room. I also did not see a pool, or a hot tub, which would have been a very nice feature.

Very clean, quiet hotel. Staff is more than willing to help or answer any questions. A microwave and coffee in the room would be great, refrigerator is a great feature and helpful with leftovers, just no way to reheat. Thanks for a great stay!!

Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff in the hotel, ****** and Mein and Flipt restaurants were very friendly and helpful. The food in both restaurants was very good. We also really appreciated that the restaurants were open late! It was also nice to have a Starbucks in the lobby.

Excellent hotel. Awesome staff. Have had to come to the area a few times for business, and found your hotel to be fantastic. We stayed on the first floor and the only negative thing I would say is the key card lock for the first flor is very touchy, sometimes it took me upwards of thirty seconds to get that door to open. Not a big deal, just letting you know…
