The hotel is a very nice hotel, but it is a very nice hotel. The rooms are old and uncomfortable, and the sound isolation seems absent. My normal call, hours 9.30 pm, caused the reaction in the nearby room that obviously heard everything. I heard it beat for a long time. The reception is often deserted and I waited twice in two days 10 minutes. Breakfast is decent but not exceptional. The hotel is a very good restaurant, and it is not very bad for local standards if the shopkeepers were less cold and unspoiled.The price of around 100 Euro per night is probably normal in Hamburg but too high because of the service.
