Novotel Den Haag World Forum

The room was so clean and spacious! I enjoyed the big TV screen as well. Somehow I couldn’t chromecast Netflix. The staff were very kind too. Check-in and out was very smooth too. The breakfast was sufficient, though, I thought it was mediocre for 20€.

It’s a huge disappointment on cleaning service at Novotel Hotel. We stayed for 2 nights, only the beds were made and a replacement of floor towel for our second night. All the wet towels were untouched and no replacement at all. The bathroom was not cleaned at all. We came back too late at night and too tired to complain all these bad cleaning practices. On the other hand, the front desk staff was nice and polite. The cleaning team needs to step up their standards.

During my stay I was charged a €150 penalty which was initially presented as a smoking fine. The hotel later confirmed there was no evidence of smoking (no smell, ash or cigarette butts), yet the charge was maintained and later justified as covering a smoke detector. The payment was requested on the spot before access to the room was restored. After the payment, the explanation for the penalty changed. No official invoice or document describing the charge has been provided to this day. The situation was escalated to Accor Customer Relations but they redirected the matter back to the hotel without resolving the issue. On a positive note, Trip.com handled a later booking issue professionally and offered an alternative hotel, where the stay was excellent. Unfortunately, the experience with Novotel Den Haag World Forum itself was disappointing.

Nice hotel with very expensive parking. On the positive side, the breakfast was diverse and tasty, and the room was large, clean and comfortable.

Good room, easy check-in. I can only recommend this place. No complaints!
