Very bad experience, the service of a four-star hotel is very poor, the elevator button is broken and very dangerous, the hair dryer in the room is broken, the shower gel is empty, there is no toilet paper, and it was not delivered until I contacted the front desk.

Stayed here with 3 single beds in a room; but it was actually 2 beds & a sofa bed. This may be a Trip issue as there was no documenting this was the case. I also had to pay extra for the hotel when I arrived due to tax.
Finally, the aforementioned “sofa bed” wasn’t acknowledged by the cleaning staff as they made the 2 real beds in the day but not mine.
The staff were nice though but to be honest I don’t think I’d come back here again unless the rate was ridiculously cheap.

Room was ok! Customer service was very bad. As if the reception doesn't feel like working. Super unfriendly too. There was no toilet paper so I asked reception to bring it and then she said it has run out, so no toilet paper in stock, room was cold. It's winter so I also asked for a blanket, reception said they'll bring it but no one came. 5 hours later I call back and she said oh sorry I'm bringing it now. I had made a request for late checkout and was not told I have to pay extra.
On check out I was 2 hours late and I had to pay so much extra after going through all this.

Wij zijn van zaterdag op zondag gaan overnachten in het Novotel Rotterdam/Schiedam. We kregen de eerste kamer, prima zou je denken. Dat was het niet. We zijn 20 keer wakker geworden die nacht door al het lawaai in de gang, het was heel gehorig. Niet handig voor in een hotel. Daarnaast is het ook niet heel normaal dat de gasten zoveel herrie maken tot 3 uur ‘s nachts. Naast alle herrie was er ook een hard en dik kussen waar eigenlijk niemand gelukkig van wordt. Dan komt de kers op de taart, 2 uur ‘s nachts deed iemand onze deur open. We werden heel verward wakker omdat de deur open en dicht ging. We hebben dit nog gecheckt die avond en vanaf buiten kon je (zonder pasje) niet de deur openen. We hebben het toen erbij gelaten en wouden het die ochtend erna melden. Die ochtend erna stond er een jonge dame achter de balie en die zou het doorgeven, nooit meer iets over gehoord. Daarnaast ook niet het schoonste hotel, veel stof en er zaten hier en daar vlekken op het dekbed van mascara en de muren waren ook niet schoon. We zijn niet snel ontevreden maar in de auto hadden we nog een betere slaapplek dan in dit hotel, niet aan te raden. Totaal niet het geld waard.
