Hotels with Parking in Schiller Park

My 2 friends and I chose this hotel due to its proximity to Oak Park. We wanted a suite with a living area with a sofa bed separate from the bed room. Unfortunately when I pulled out the sofa bed for the first night, I realized the mattress wasn't very comfortable. We were tired and I decided to deal with it. I received a text Saturday morning inquiring about our stay. I texted back that the mattress was not very comfortable on the sofa bed and asked if it could be replaced. I quickly received a text back that said unfortunately they didn't have any new mattresses, but would bring me a second mattress to put on top of the first one. That made the bed much more comfortable the 2nd night. While this hotel needs new sofa bed mattresses, they responded to me quickly and honestly and did what they could to improve the situation. The price we paid for 3 people for 2 nights was very reasonable. There was a hot breakfast both mornings that met our needs. We had dinner on Friday night at the attached Uno Pizzeria. The food was very good and the waiter couldn't have been nicer. We had enough food left over for dinner Saturday night after a late lunch. The room had a microwave and refrigerator. All of us were pleased with our accommodations and would return.

I have stayed at Four Points on multiple occasions over the last few years before my most recent stay there this past weekend, hence why I booked here for my partner’s and mine’s little weekend getaway to the city. I also booked here knowing they offered gated/secure parking for those not using vehicles on during their stay (I.e. “the park and fly”) When booking I had questioned whether we could park our vehicle on site in the secure area knowing that our time of arrival was going to be far prior to check in time. I got the okay to my parking question when speaking to the front desk, so we booked! Upon arrival, I had to ask the front desk twice for the gate code to the secure parking as our first encounter they only gave us our parking pass but did not include the parking code. We dodged pot holes throughout the general parking area as well as the secure parking area which was less than ideal. Ultimately though we were able to park our vehicle, order our Uber and get to our destination on time. Fast forward a few hours I was able to check into our room on the app, which was nice given we were 45 minutes - an hour away from the hotel for the day. We finally arrived to our room later that evening and we’re able to get our rooms keys and get our things from our vehicle to bring up to the room. Upon re-entering the building from the secure parking area, we both swiped our room keys on the building door to enter to no avail. Prior to turning around and almost walking through the vehicle gate drive through and around the building to the front door, my partner pulled on the building door and came to the realization the door was never locked (big yikes!) so anyone hotel guest or not if able to get into the parking area had unlimited access to the interior of the hotel. That in itself made use feel uneasy. We used the room for solely sleeping in a bed and getting ready/showering for the next day of our trip. We arrived on a Friday and stayed through Monday morning (3 night stay in total). Each and every morning when I woke up, I couldn’t figure out for the life of me why I waking up completely congested and itchy face, eyes, throat, etc. Sunday morning I made a very uncomfortable discovery…. Our entire hotel room was LITTERED with mold growing out of any crevice in the room. The bathroom door frame was completed surrounded by mold growth (see photos) and we found evidence of peeling wallpaper near the patio door with mold growing up the wall where the door/window meets the wall. The only thing I’m allergic to is mold so it all started to add up in why I was feeling so miserable every morning after sleeping here night after night during our stay. In addition to looking for more evidence of this untimely discovery we came across uncovered wires, loose and/or broken outlets in our room (adding to a few more safety hazards of our stay). While the front desk personnel did document my concerns upon checkout, I do not recommend anyone to stay with Four Point

Good value for money, customer service attitude is very good! There is airport transfer service, which is very convenient. Arrive at night, let us wait in the E5 area. As a result, I was sent to the U.S. by the airport and departed for E5! The driver found us again. Praise! It's not easy for drivers at night, and a $5 tip encourages you. Shopping within 500m around is inconvenient! Overall, it's ok!

Buyers beware! They quote different prices than when you show up to check in. Also, not clean. We had stayed there for the convienince as close to airport. However, we can not express enough that they should not have anyone stay there. We actually had a situation where our flight had been delayed coming back on the park sleep fly. We called to make them aware of this as a plane crashed at our airport where we were needing to take off from. We were told by the hotel all will be fine. However, we finally got back to the hotel and the Manager decided to take us off the park sleep fly package (because we did not get in until next day) and charge rate on parking days (individually). We pleaded with her and she still insisted. So we called our credit card company they fought for us and our pricing as park sleep and fly was met. Point being, we should not have had to do that. They should have worked with us as we are only talking a day later arrival. Nobody should have to deal with this! If you want a clean, honest place to stay before your flight, there are places right next store! Clean too!

1 star is generous, unfortunatley it won't let me give 0. WORST HOTEL EVER, DO NOT BOOK!! Often I see reviews like this and think 'it can't be that bad, it's just a bed to sleep in'.. trust me, it can. Awful from start to finish. RUDE horrible reception staff (female, won't mention name but rhymes with Sia) from check in, non-smoking room STANK of smoke and a musty stale smell. Aeroplanes going overhead every 30 secs (not their fault but impossible to sleep). People smoking ****/arguing outside your door. We asked to move rooms and were told we exceeded the 15min reporting time (this is not stated anywhere and was a blatant lie and how ridiculous that they expect you to get back to reception within 15 mins - we were debating whether we could put up with it but also frantically trying to find somewhere local for dinner before everywhere shut within the hour as we arrived in the vening). Receptionist refused us to move rooms as said they had none available, yet loads on booking.com. Told us to speak to manager and was our own fault for not researching the hotel better (how they could blame us I don't know).. then gave us a fake email and a phone number for reception where manager was not even on shift and it just went back to the miserable girl. Then told us we could move rooms (despite saying they had no spare rooms) only to put us in another smelly one, then finally gave us a better smelling room as a last resort as they refused to refund us (which is just awful) yet there were black hairs all in the bed and we had to sleep fully clothed on top of the sheets and felt sooo dirty and gross!!! We beared two nights there as everything else cost $400+ but I was willing to pay any amount of money to avoid it if they hadn't found us a room that smelt remotely acceptable (which she had clearly just ran around with antibac spray). Please please please do not give these people your money or custom, they are rude, obnoxious, have the worst customer service and I would rather have slept in a dog kennel, outside, in the rain.

Did not eat breakfast at the hotel. There is a shuttle bus to the airport. The air conditioner and refrigerator are noisy. The bed was comfortable. Service is efficient. Sanitation is done very well. There are gas stations and fast food nearby.

Free shuttle service from the airport is very nice. Free breakfast is available from the early morning. I enjoyed breakfast- many kinds of food. Super clean and warm inside. I will stay here again.
