Alpine Club Resort

We booked this hotel at the last minute after a change in our itinerary. It was the most affordable option in the area, so we didn't have particularly high expectations. To our surprise, it exceeded them in every way. We are a family of four and booked a one-bedroom apartment. Both the bedroom and living room were spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to move around comfortably. The apartment also had a well-equipped kitchen with a good selection of appliances, cookware, and cutlery. After eating out for many days, we were craving something different, so we picked up a few ingredients from the supermarket and cooked a simple but delicious dinner ourselves. The hotel is located on top of a mountain, and I imagine a room with a view would be an amazing bonus. Unfortunately, because of our last-minute booking, we could only get a room facing the back. That said, it was very quiet, and everything else about our stay was excellent. The reception staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. Sadly, we didn't have enough time to enjoy the hotel's facilities, such as the sauna and swimming pool. We only stayed for one night before continuing with our trip, which was a real shame. We hope to come back in the future and stay a little longer next time.

Filthy kitchen. Smelly bedrooms and no soap in bathrooms. I had to complain several times to get clean towels and soap.

The room we got, is at the other building, but it is connected. It is under renovation, thus a bit dusty along the corridor. If you are driving, it is easy to get to Hallstatt and Dachstein mountain.

Spotlessly clean apartment that overlooks the town with a mountain view. Fully supplied kitchenette and facilities in this resort. Staff was friendly.
