Hotel Villa Schneverdingen

We were welcomed at checking in. Staffs were kids friendly, kind and professional. They provided us some information about what to do and where to eat in town. We’re allowed to have a Jenga from a lobby to our room. The hotel is unique that they have 4 suites as four seasons, no relation to seasons in decoration wise though. It’s an old building but as a suite, the room is spacious and cozy. Even bathroom is spacious enough that 4 people of my family can fit in there together. Breakfast and parking are also very nice. They set a table for your breakfast, brew coffee and cook eggs for you as your preferences. I wanted sunny side up and my hubby wanted crumbled eggs. A female staff was very friendly to my children :) Some restaurants and playground are in walkable distance. I was happy to find this hotel. Only one thing I didn’t like was pillows. They were too soft that I had some muscle pains in the morning. If you’d like to, I recommend you to bring your own pillows.

What a hidden gem! I have never received this kind bang for my buck! If you are looking for a place to stay, there is a good reason to come here from even a bit further away! There was plenty of room for our car in the parking lot, which is right next to the hotel. The owner, who checked us in, changed our room for a more accessible one, as we were traveling with a baby. The owner also recommended a restaurant, some local sights to visit, and even a jogging route! The excellent service continued during the breakfast. As we came to the cafe for the breakfast, there was already a feeding chair for the baby. We also had a pleasant chat with the waiter and she told us about the history of the place. It felt like they really had a think about the needs of the customer! The suite “spring” had two rooms and a bathroom. During our visit the temperature was pleasant. The bed was fairly large and a comfortable one. The bathroom and the shower were spacious and had all the needed equipment. In a nutshell the room has it all, even for a bit longer stay. Only a larger mirror would be something that wasn’t there. The other thing for the owner to reconsider is the restaurant that they recommended. The Italian restaurant was rather average. I wouldn’t recommend it. Otherwise the room, the service, the breakfast, and the extremely beautiful house made it an excellent experience!
