Das Hotel war unsere „Heimat“ für einen Rad-Kurzurlaub in der Heide. Bei der Ankunft fiel gleich der überquellende Mülleimer am Hotel- und Restauranteingang auf. Die Rezepition war nicht besetzt, aber über Mobilfunk erreichbar. Uns wurde die Zimmernummern genannt, die Zimmerschlüssel steckten. Unser Zimmer im Tiefpaterre war spartanisch eingerichtet und roch ein wenig muffig. Der Aschenbecher auf der Terrasse war von irgendwelchen früheren Gästen gut gefüllt. Der „Garten“ ist eine ungepflegte Wiese, defekte Gartenmöbel Ligen am Rand herum. Im italienischen Restaurant gab es an diesem 1.Abend nur Pizza (lecker) und Salat. Das Frühstücksbuffet war nicht sehr umfangreich, aber völlig ausreichend. An weiteren Abenden waren wir im Ort essen; alles ist zu Fuß oder per Rad gut erreichbar. Die Fahrradgarage war eine Katastrophe; überall lag Gerümpel herum. Bei der Abreise wurde die Kartenzahlung in der Küche! durchgeführt. Mit dem Koffer zum nahen Parkplatz vorbei an dem nach 3 Tagen immer noch überquellenden Mülleimer.
