Hotel Restaurant Belvédère

Ontvangst was keurig. Erg vriendelijk personeel. Hotel is sfeervol en prima kamer. Enige minpunt was dat het in de kamer vrij koud was. En het ontbijt is ook vrij vroeg. Mag wat ons betreft later, tot 11.00 uur zou fijner zijn ipv 10.00 uur.

What a strange hotel. Apparently dogs were not allowed, which was communicated via the reservation. In the end this was resolved and they were allowed inside. However, a very unfriendly lady behind the reception desk immediately made it clear that she hated dogs and had to repeat it twice. The same lady served in the restaurant in the evening and continuously barked at her colleagues. Not nice to see as guests and certainly not nice for these colleagues. The food was excellent and the other people in the service were also very friendly. The morning lady at breakfast was the star of the weekend. Cheerful humor, cozy and hospitable.

Spent the night here during a cycling tour through the Netherlands. The bicycles can be stored in the bowling alley. A friendly welcome and then a delicious drink on the terrace with plenty of shade from plane trees and a beautiful view of the river. A nice room that is perhaps slightly dated. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant as part of a package deal. Solid decor, friendly service and delicious food. Definitely worth going again

Een heerlijk klassiek hotel, prachtig gelegen aan de de Lek. Prima kamers met zicht op de rivier maar het fijnst is het restaurant met terras. Met linnen gedekte tafels en fijne kaart. Zeer attent en vriendelijke medewerkers. Het is allemaal nog niet zo ‘ gelikt’ als bij de grote hotelketens. Persoonlijke aandacht, nog een gewone sleutel voor de kamer geen aanstellerig ontbijtbuffet met zalm en 6 soorten Franse kaas, maar wel versgebakken brood, ver geperste jus d’ orange en een gekookt eitje. Helemaal goed!!
