Red Roof Inn & Suites Scottsboro

This place is not pet friendly at all! I tried to make a reservation and was accepted based on my 2 small dogs weight. But when I was allowed to continue and Mentioned my Goldendoodle highly trained and registered service animal this place refused the room and rudely declared I had tried to slip in a 3rd pet. He then denied to allow me to speak with the manager, alleged to be Nick Patel and told me to call back during the day. Subsequent calls were answered by the same rude and uninformed man, claiming to be the manager. Calls to corporate offices resulted in a complaint but with the disclaimer that they don’t own the hotel and to call a specific number. Calls to that number have my number blocked. This petty little waste of humanity has no idea or cocern what it’s like to be disabled and denied housing because of a disability. Looking at last reviews he has pushed his arbitrary pet policy on others with little regard. But to escalate his discrimination to disabled veterans is unacceptable on all levels. I would never recommend this hotel.

Complete internal remodeling made appearance like a new facility. Room Bath and shower very modern. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Large breakfast area with excellent variety of menu items. Convenient location north of Gunterville. Total experience was inviting. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

It's typically inexpensive place. I think it's under a remodeling. If you get the rooms on the backside or Northside it's much quieter from the road noise.
