Our stay was very pleasant. Family vacation for seven days. The staff were friendly, and helpful with information regarding the area. Room was clean and additional supplies and cleaning service provided when requested.
Would have preferred variety in breakfast selection. Breakfast was not bad.There was fruit some days and some days not. The entire seven days we stayed they offered bacon only on one day. It would have been nice to offer half bacon and half sausage as daily options. Grateful for hot breakfast none the less.
Workout room was enjoyable. Overall good stay.

Due to early arrival, I called first thing in the morning and asked for an early check-in. I spoke with a gentleman named Joe, who confirmed that I would be able to check in as of noon. When I arrived at noon, the lady working the reception desk seemed uninterested in helping me and told me to come back at 3 PM. She was not customer service focused.

Excellent check-in experience and professional care and consideration by front desk staff, particularly Janai (sp?). Always very customer service oriented and quick. Sad to say but many other front desk personnel on this trip (hotels in 3 cities) were less than engaged, failing to make eye contact much, or joyfully responding to our queries. This Holiday Inn & Suites was exemplary and Janai was no small part of our great experience. Two dings, though: 1. Only oranges at breakfast? No apples I can understand maybe (out of season) but no bananas even? 2. Suite was large, well furnished, with great bed/pillows but the baño was not well laid out - it’s door when open was in way of sitting on toilet comfortably.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights earlier this month. All was fine except when I saw an $8.36 charge to my credit card a few days after check-out. I called the hotel and the clerk I was transferred to said it’s a per-room parking fee. Well, since I did not have a car, I questioned her why I needed to pay it. She just reiterated that all guests pay a parking fee regardless of whether they have a car or not. When I said that didn’t sound right, she abruptly hung up on me. An otherwise nice stay was marred by a weird, undisclosed policy, as well as a rude clerk. I won't be returning.

Really liked the location. - close to Old Town but cheaper than other hotels in the area. Breakfast was great. Rooms are large with separate sitting area from bedroom. The noise barrier however is poor - could hear the people walking every step above us - very squeaky floors.
Disappointed that the pool was out for service for the duration of our stay (4 days).
Overall an enjoyable stay.
