We love the cleanliness of the property, pool and courtyard. Even the free breakfast and cocktail hour are worth the $30.00 resort fee.
However, our room was NOT clean. The carpet had not been cleaned or even vacuumed. The sheets were torn, and bottom sheet and mattress pad were too small and did not fit the bed. For the cost of the hotel per night, I expected better.

We have travelled enough to say that this hotel has excellent amenities. The location is in the heart of beautiful and upscale Scottsdale. The daily breakfast is fantastic. The happy hour is generous. The pool is as beautiful as portrayed. The suite was just as the pictures showed, except that the carpet was dirty. Over five days, while hanging out at the pool or restaurant, we were always seeing the same young and striking couple who were very fit and liked to display this. Amidst a large and diverse crowd, they displayed questionable behavior and motives. Since it's a conference venue, is this hotel the target of criminal activity?

Suites are comfortable and nice, lobby and courtyard are spectacular, staff very professional. I am looking forward to my next visit. Parking is crowded, but there always seemed to be one spot available.

Our 2 bedroom king size beds plus a kitchenette room was great. It is a bit dated and could use some updating. But the property is very nice and the staff and housekeeping are great and friendly. The Free happy hour was wonderful. Snacks and wine or beer, all free, but you can leave a tip. Breakfast was awesome too. The pool area and grounds are very nice. This is a very beautiful property. I would stay again.

If you are new to Sonesta Gainey Suites, you will like the place. Grounds pretty, close to shopping area with grocery store. Wonderful staff. They brought back their buffet breakfast. Have a very limited Happy Hour. However, if you had been prior quests prior 2021, you enjoyed the buffet breakfast and a 2 hour Happy hour with complimentary food changing everyday. Salads, pizza, tacos, meatball and barbeque sandwiches and other items. Since we enjoyed that for years and it is no longer we selected another place. Oh ya, a $25.00 a night resort fee
