Independence 47 Hotel Scottsdale Hotel occupied by non paying residents! Beware this hotel houses homeless and illegals. They don’t appear to be vetted, screened monitored or supervised! There are plenty of other hotel choices in Scottsdale!

The service was good. The hotel should have been a two star. Trash everywhere in the parking lot. Alot of old and worn out parts at the pool. Room was ok. Id stay at another hotel for the same price poi t

We were exhausted when we got to hotel. And next to us there were 3 adults & a baby. I’m guessing they were on Crack or some Opioids because they were loud & talked fast and Loud with baby crying of and on. Turn air on high & played ocean sleep music to drowse out the never end loudness. So tried that we slept 2 hours until air conditioning went off and there noise woke us up ard 11:40pm. Turn air to freezing to try to sleep for but they just never shut up. At 3am I went to complain and sleep in lobby and hopefully my wife could fall asleep. At 4:10am my wife yelled and bang on 303s door to shut the hell up and then packed up came to the lobby very upset & exhausted and said I won’t to go home. We had to cancel our Aquarium tour and drive 4hrs home with no Sleep. We Paid $125 to be tortured at this hotel and loss out on our Aquarium time that morning to drive Exhausted at 4am 4 HOURS HOME! A NIGH**ARE!

Older property is obvious, but is cared for wiith one exception on this visit. There was a "wad" of long black hair stuck to the back of the shower, didn't see it until we were in the shower.....
Room was otherwise clean, and pleasant smelling even for the obvious age of the facility, it seemed to be a cared for site.
I would also recommend repainting the parking spots, hard to tell what is handicapped and not....
I will stay there again, but certainly checking the shower a little closer before use.

Nice hotel. It gets the job done and the pool is very nice. The beds are a little hard/worn out but they are good enough. Could also use some better pillows. The front counter staff is very nice and helpful. I would like to thank the manager for allowing me to keep my room a little longer because I was waiting to go to my wedding later in the day. She allowed me to keep my room to get ready in. I really appreciate that!

They advertise the kids full does not work they advertise breakfast they do not have anything available only coffee the rooms are dirty the air conditioner in the gym does not work the front desk people are very polite

The young woman at front desk was pleasant and knowledgeable. This was by far not the fanciest place I have overstayed, and was a bit pricey for the condition, but overall a nice stay. The area surrounding the hotel appeared safe, but some of the surrounding rooms to us had heavy smokers right outside of our door. Some rooms had trash outside on their patios which wasn't so great. Good location for Spring Training, for sure.

Mayci was the staff for our check in and she was super friendly and helpful. The hotel needs an update but it was clean which I really appreciate. Beds were comfortable enough.

The shower pressure water was so intense, you couldn’t hardly stand under it to shower. No cleaning service of any kind was offered during our week long stay. The bed had a very light weight sheet and an even lighter blanket. No breakfast of any kind. Good location, but the parking lot area had cars in it that never moved.
