Nice clean room above a pub. Short walk from station and beach. Friendly staff. Cooked breakfast was a good amount.

Stayed here whilst visiting friends. The room was a bit dated, but it was very clean and comfortable and we had a beautiful view from our room (Room 1) The staff are really friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay here next time we visit.

This is a little gem of a place with great value and customer service from the moment you arrive till you leave. The rooms are clean and well maintained and as others have mentioned the breakfast is superb. The breakfast service was excellent There is free Wi-Fi and parking but you can park on the street you only minutes from town and the seafront. It is a working pub so expect some noise but it was not an issue Tip if you child is at Uni in Brighton it only 10 miles away and better value than Brighton

My brother and I booked for a special Sunday lunch last Sunday. It was excellent. There was a good choice of roasts, the portions were generous but not overwhelming, well cooked and delicious. My brother had the roast chicken and I had the pork belly. We followed up with a gorgeous Baileys cheesecake, again generous portions but not too big. And the service was great, very helpful and friendly staff. Would highly recommend the White Lion.

Very friendly welcome, they allow check in a lot earlier that big brand hotels which suited me. Clean and functional room for single occupancy with everything you need. Pub downstairs has a good selection of beers on tap and again a welcoming atmosphere. I missed out out on trying the evening meal, but staff and clientele were more than helpful in guiding me to a number of alternative restaurants within walking distance. WiFi worked without any issues. TV channels were missing a few, but probably just needs a retune, no dramas. Booked the night before, checked in just after 1pm and the Breakfast included was perfect to set me up for a drive back up north that day. Very close to walk to the sea front to get a lungful before setting off on your next journey.

Booked in for 3 days while visiting family in Seaford. I stayed in one of the single rooms as there was only myself and the dog. The room was perfect for what I needed. It was en suite, tea and coffee making facilities and a comfy bed. Its a very friendly establishment, staff are lovely, the owners are super and very involved. The breakfast has to be the best full English I've had on my travels. Plenty of food, and good quality. Very local to the beach and to shops and only a short walk into town I also had a meal in the restaurant and doing it to be veg good quality produce,well prepared and cooked to a very good standard. Very reasonably priced as well. I will definitely make this my base when I visit family again, and, as the hotel is home to the Seaford Bonfire Society, I am intrigued to see the celebrations so will be returning in November

The room had a seaview and lots of light. I was provided with shampoo, tea,coffee, water and biscuits. The bed was very comfy and I had a small table and 2 chairs to use. The TV had very limited channels but had a good clear picture. The team who cleaned were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was good and served with a smile and a reasonable amount of choice. I will definitely be back.

The chef needs to be congratulated as the food is beautifully cooked and presented. It is so nice to have vegetables served separately and not piled on your plate. The restaurant has improved greatly and can be highly recommended

The room was ok: decent size and comfortable beds. However, it was impossible to get to sleep. Our room was over the Sports Bar. The music was very loud, and customers seemed to think it was acceptable to scream and shout loudly. This continued way after the published closing time of 11.00pm. I accept it's a pub, but don't try to sell rooms directly over the bar. Also, the bath towels were tiny. I love to support local businesses, but sadly I cannot recommend this place.
