Property is very busy and obviously gets a lot of hard use, but everything was very comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our "in-person" part of the visit was very good and what I would expect from a Choice property. However, the day we were scheduled to arrive, I got a text implying that my guaranteed reservation might not be held if I didn't complete "online check-in" with all my personal information and soliciting me to pay for a variety of upgrades - including early check-in, late check-out, shuttle rides, etc. For one thing, they already had all my personal info. For another, Early/late check-in/out has always been free subject to availability (and was this time once I arrived and spoke with the staff in person)! And perhaps the most frustrating was that when I received the text(s), I had neither cell phone signal, computer access, nor time to respond. If this is Choice's new marketing strategy, they may soon lose a long-time Gold/Platinum member!
