I like this place because it’s really easy to travel but bus 320 to the city. Although interior might be a bit outdated it’s all clean and neat. Complimentary breakfast is also good and with a variety of foods I really can endorse this hotel for a city trip

Terrible customer service - you call and are put immediately on hold for over 30 minutes!! I was calling from the UK to ask a question and spent £45 on hold!! Why do they answer the call and put someone on hold without coming back (this happened the first call, I held for 20 minutes then ended the call),

This is a former Embassy Suites that closed and then reopened under a new name and management. The new owners may be Indian as nearly everyone who works here is Indian. Often that means a marginal hotel especially regarding cleanliness and service but neither is an issue here. The staff is quite good and the place is spotless. Our room was large and comfortable although ever so slightly showing signs of age. Everything worked. The WIFi was a little slow sometimes. The room lacked USB charge ports in convenient places. The bathroom had an annoying motion sensor which automatically turned on very bright lights. It could not be disabled so you were blinded with bright light even in the middle of the night. Parking is free and easy. The lobby is a stunning atrium but unfortunately nearly all of it is set up with tables for eating rather than comfortable chairs so it isn't a place to hang out. Breakfast is really great. It actually has a made to order omelet station. Location is quite good and within easy walking distance of many restaurants, a Walmart and a movie theater. The Manhattan bound NJ transit #320 bus stops just across the street and runs every 10 minutes . Room pricing is all over the place with the price doubling for the same room from March to April and increasing by yet another $100 from April to May. At those prices the place just isn't worth the money but if you find an attractive rate, by all means consider staying here.

I chose this hotel because of the location and because they offered a pool. The location is amazing, if you’re visiting NYC or surrounding areas. We visited The American Dream Mall, which is a five minute drive from Harmony Suites. We visited Manhattan, which is a short bus drive. The bus station is literally right across the road from the hotel. You can take the 320 bus into the city. We also visited the Bronx Zoo. That was a bit more of a drive, we drove ourselves. It was manageable from the hotel. There’s a few restaurant options within walking distance, as well as a Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. So, the hotel is in a very convenient spot. Last year, we stayed across the street at the Aloft hotel. I wasn’t a huge fan of that hotel. They didn’t really offer breakfast and their pool was out of order. I wanted to stay in the same location this year, so chose Harmony Suites to try. They did have a decent breakfast. The pool was open but it was freezing cold, so we only used it once and we stayed for six days. That was a bummer because my kids were very excited to swim. The hotel lobby and breakfast area is nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but could use an update sooner than later. Not horrible by any means, it’s just not brand new. The staff are amazing. The staff did not wear name tags, so I am unable to mention any names, but they were all very nice. My two favorite, were two men that worked the night shift. They were both very sweet and helpful. I wanted to extend my stay and they were very pleasant. The breakfast attendant that made waffles was super helpful and kind. Even though the pool was unheated due to a part being on back order, I would give this hotel a 4 out of 5. The staff were just too friendly to give any less than that. If their pool had been in working condition, I would’ve given them a 5 out of 5. I will definitely stay here again in the future. I saw a lot of reviews before my stay complaining of a $200 or $250 dollar deposit fee. This is not accurate. They do charge a $150 deposit fee, which is stated in your email confirmation. They let you know at the time of check in, that the deposit will be returned within 35 days. This fee covers any missing items or damages to the room. Many hotels charge a deposit. I do not mind paying the extra fee, as long as it gets returned to me.

Complimentary breakfast was great. omelette chef there to make it EXACTLY how youd like it. The waffles guy LIVES for making your fresh waffle exactly how you would like it - and with whatever trimmings youd like. Shower was never hot- only came on luke warm - so never had a proper shower. Kids screaming and running around the main courtyard in the centre of the apartments at 8.00pm at night. When I mentioned it to staff, she thought this was reasonable - which was disappointing.

I have been in harmony suites after spending 5 days in a hotel in Manhattan, although the one in manhattan was in the heart of New York but really i find Harmony more better in simply everything . The hotel has a good location and of course the staff were very nice . My time there was amazing

The hotel is somewhat outdated & I found reception to not be friendly or helpful considering coming from another country & seemed like they didn't want you to ask them questions. The deposit paid should have taken 3 - 5 days to be returned & this is over the time & the deposit has still yet to be returned, utterly disappointed & would not advise anyone to stay at this establishment. I don't think the money paid to stay here was worth it.

Great stay ! Public space smell really good , clean and spacious room, sympatic staff, good breakfast, bus right in front to Time Square, MetLife stadium or American Dream and simple to use… Everything was just right, can’t wait to go again !!
