Walking into the lobby to check-in was the first time we have ever felt so judged and unwelcome at any establishment. After a long road trip to get there, the lady with the long dark hair and false eyelashes who works the mid morning afternoon shift looked us up and down as if we don’t belong here and are scum. Not friendly or welcoming in anyway and no smile in sight as well. We were so uncomfortable and intimidated and considered leaving the property because of that experience. The room and the views were good. You will have no view on the first floor. Our room door was off kilter and had a half inch crack allowing bugs to get in. There was also a pile of crumbs left outside our room door entrance when we first arrived. Breakfast was approximately $25 and delicious. Also the elderly lady working breakfast on Wednesday mornings was so funny, friendly and kind and hardworking. The shuttle, fire pits and open breakfast buffet are inconsistent and run some days but maybe not today. Parking is an extra $35 a night and it’s difficult to get a spot after 6pm. It appears as though this hotel is trying to cater to the high class and ritzy population. If I could leave with one word of advice, don’t judge a book by its cover.
