Great views and lovely hotel, Breakfast was good but a shame the resteraunt was not open on a Friday night. 

I find it ridiculous and upsetting for 4 star hotel that the restaurant was booked out and with no room for the hotel guests. We had to look for food in high season in rain after long biking elsewhere. Unfortunately most of the other places were booked too.

We stayed only one night but we will not forget it!
The location is perfect with scenic views on the lake, both from the room and from the restaurant. We enjoyed the balcony of the room. 
And the food is amazing! 

Pro:  ＞ Zimmer war super. Sauber, modern eingerichtet ＞ Frühstücksbuffet war super ＞ die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich ＞ die Lage ist super, weil man einen schönen Ausblick über den See hat  Contra: ＞ Check in (15.00) und check out (11:00)Zeiten waren komisch, da das Hotel davor geschlossen war ＞ Frau an der Rezeption war nicht sehr herzlich.  ＞ erste Frage beim Check out war, ob man was aus der Minibar genommen hat ( anstatt zu fragen, ob man zufrieden war)  Fazit: Für ein 4 Sterne Hotel würde ich mir mehr Herzlichkeit erwarten. Man hat sich nicht sehr willkommen gefühlt. 

Sehr gute Lage und gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr freundlicher Service.

When we arrived Friday morning, we were clear that we couldn't check in right away, but we were closed doors. At the entrance a note was hanging ”Check-in from 15:00” and the door was closed. So we couldn't even deposit our luggage at the reception, but had to leave it in the car. That's something we had never experienced before. The location of the hotel is beautiful and the sea view is impressive from the restaurant terrace. However, the house itself has seen better times. Our room with sea view was clean but slightly furnished and the furniture was old. We had the impression that once a sofa or extra bed had to be standing here, which was removed, because the double bed was moved so that it filled the empty space and so the lamps and light switches no longer matched the position of the bed. The bathroom looked a little more modern and was ok. On the balcony we had a small table and two seats - was ok. The breakfast room and dining room are modern and attractively furnished. Breakfast is offered in buffet form and was ok from the selection. Eggs could be ordered and the coffee from the machine tasted excellent. We read many negative messages about service and were taken to the worst. So argued we did not experience it then. The lady at the reception was helpful, but not very friendly, so rather neutral. At breakfast, a older helper was very friendly and premature. We wanted to drink something at the bar, but were asked to take a drink on the terrace because the bar was ”not yet” opened. Well, she had never opened. The opening times are really strange here. For not only that we found the hotel closed in the afternoon, the restaurant had always closed, although it was still the main season. For dinner I ordered pasta with truffles (price € 14) and was asked whether as a pre- or main meal. I said ”as main food” and thought the question was related to the time of service. But when paying the surprise came: the portion cost €22. However, there was no speech on the map of different portions sizes or prices. So overall, the huppel left a profound impression, and I don't know if we would go down here again. As already stated in the title, it might be so nice, but there's a lot of air upwards.

We booked 2 DZ and 2 EZ last weekend. At arrival Friday at 13:00 the “4 stars” hotel was closed. No entry. We thought it was in principle acceptable. But the door's ticket pointed out that restaurant is open only at 18:00 and rooms are available at 15:00. Where is that? I have never experienced the complete staff is gone and the hotel is locked. Without questioning this from our site, the lady at the reception (I think Chefin) is in principle very unfriendly and sells the guests for stupid. We had asked extra via email whether the hotel has direct sea access. That was answered ‘yes I's given'. On the ground we were made clear that there was, of course, the public step in mind. Really now? Staff is trying, but mostly young trainees. Rooms OK, with mattresses, you feel every fitting and the metal in your back. Another known person had to cancel her DZ, since the 6-year-old son was not allowed to sleep with bed in the room or in the bed of the parents, but had to book a private room for it! For a cancellation of the table in the restaurant 2 hours before booking, we paid €40. Without being notified in advance. It is certainly sold 4 times. You do this with home guests, because ‘free' doesn't. When you park free for guests, you get a bad note into the window that the number plate is reported and a punishment is followed if you don't have to be a hotel guest. You can also go friendly or you could ask for the number table at the “reception” and check-in. etc .... Because of the lack of hospitality and the impossible nature of the boss, we will not come back anyway!
