First room’s bed sheet (room 517) was extremely dirty with foot prints on the bedsheet and hair. Complained to the staff and the gentleman immediately change a room for me (Room 515) which is much better. This is the second times l stay at the View Hotel. Quite disappointed indeed.

Strategic location, which within the town itself. Plenty of eatery nearby within walkable distance. They also provide free covered car park in the basement. The room is clean but had limited space to put on your big travelling backpack. The toilet is spacious and the water pressure is good. The building itself is shared with other companies but for the hotel guest, it's exclusively located at level 7&8. The sound proof from outside of the room is quite good but not excellent for the light sleeper.

I had a good stay at The View Hotel Segamat. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the location was very convenient. Great value for a short stay in Segamat.

This is our 4th time staying at this hotel but standard has dropped. Toilet bowl was not washed (i had thrown a piece of toilet paper into the toilet bowl after wiping my hands but didn't flash it before i left the room). When i came back that night , the toilet paper was still in there. No extra toilet roll provided. Started with only half a roll when we checked in Stayed two nights, but towels n bedsheets were not changed after first night. Both dustbins were not emptied after first night.

Overall, it's okay. I stayed here because my sister-in-law's in-laws live nearby, and we were celebrating Eid. It's really convenient here because there are lots of shops downstairs. If you want KFC or McDonald's, they're all right below! So far, it's been pretty good.

Good and convenient location. Near to supermarkets, bank and a lot of eateries around. They provide carpark which is good. One of the best hotel in Segamat town.

Good location, free parking at basemen

About 1km from the train and bus stations. Hotel was in the middle of town. Supermarkets, fast food restaurants just around it. Check in/out was easy. Required a RM50 deposit which was returned upon checknout. Room was decent size with toiletries, coffee/tea provided. Clean room and toilet. Aircon was cold and water heater in shower was great. For coffee shops and local food eateries, just a 10mins walk to 2 big food court area. Overall a pleasant stay.

Segamat, Johor is a quiet old city where life moves at a slow pace. This hotel is super conveniently located right in the heart of town. I'd definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit.

Location-wise, it's close to many fast food restaurants (KFC, ZUS Coffee, McDonald's, Texas Chicken). The room was fine – spacious and clean. The amenities aren't as plentiful as other hotels, but for the price, I think it's perfectly acceptable. Irons are provided on each level. Parking is also easy and free in the basement. Overall, a good stay. I will repeat if I'm back in Segamat.

Great location with convenient on-site parking and friendly staff. The room was comfortable overall, though the air-conditioning unit was an older model and could be noisy while running.

Ok laa for the price. Just parking is not recommended. Only soap provided. No shampoo
