Just good

It is 1 bus stop + walking distance from JR station. It is a very retro hotel. The lobby and rooms are like scenes from old movies. Although it is a bit old, I think it is fine compared to the price of 288/night. PS. There are no disposable slippers, remember to bring your own.

The location is relatively good, there are many commercial facilities around, and eating is also convenient. The hotel facilities are a bit old, like the old three-star hotels in China. There is a legendary bicycle rental service. When I asked the front desk, there were only two bicycles, and they were all rented out. I could only use public transportation and walking.

The hotel is located next to the famous Sendai Kokubuncho. There is a Simbac connected to the hotel, which is very convenient for drinking coffee. It is very close to Ichibancho and surrounding commercial streets, so shopping and eating are very convenient. Walking along Kokubun Town for about 1 kilometer, you can visit the headquarters of Tohoku University, see Lu Xun's portrait and memorial hall, as well as the ruins of Lu Xun's former residence, and take a cultural tour. Let's talk about the hotel. The hotel facilities are relatively old, so the hotel has made a lot of compensatory attempts for this, which really makes the guests very interested, such as: various additional varieties of free shampoo, lotion, and more. There are pillows, comic books, ice cubes, etc., and bicycles for rent. It feels good. Although the room facilities are a bit old, they are very clean. The toilet has no peculiar smell, and the exhaust system does not have any aftertaste. I am very satisfied with this. I booked a triple room with three large beds, which was larger than an ordinary room and was very comfortable. Breakfast is Japanese style, with pickles, rice, miso soup, some side dishes, salads, and two or three varieties of bread. There isn't much, but it's enough to fill you up. Speaking of service, the service in Japan is very good. I bump into the cleaning lady every day, and she greets me immediately when I meet her. She is very enthusiastic. Overall, I'm still very satisfied.

Everything was fine except for the poor drainage in the bathroom, which was the only drawback.

It's far from Sendai Station, but close to the restaurant district (Kokubuncho). The subway station is close, so it's not a problem. It's about a 20-minute walk from Sendai Station. Recommended for those who want to be close to the restaurant district. I only stayed here for one night, so I don't know about the services. The amenities are a little cheap-looking.

Everything you need is there. The morning buffet was fun for me, who tends to prefer Japanese food, as it also had local dishes.

It has a retro feel and a Showa era feel, but it's clean and not bad. We were traveling with 5 people, so we asked the front desk staff about the taxi situation and bus routes to our destination, but they didn't seem to know, so we decided to look it up ourselves. Sendai has many tourist spots, so I think it would be better if the staff could provide more information on transportation (taxis, trains, buses) in addition to front desk duties.

The price is cheap and the location is good. There is an air purifier in the room. It's conveniently connected to Starbucks.
