Vistacay Hotel Worldcup Reviews

Made an accidental mistake in booking Vistacay worldcup instead of downtown Vistacay Cheonjiyeon. It takes 30 minutes by bus to get downtown. Hotel check-in procedures were a hassle. This is the first hotel I've stayed in Korea that requires the hotel reception to make a photocopy of your passport (whatever for?) Secondly, they make you sign a check-in form that requires a KOREAN phone number. Lucky I had one but I wonder if they'll still accept the foreigners who don't. Definitely NOT foreigner friendly. I certainly would NOT book any Vistacay hotel in future.

Decent hotel, had a similar aesthetic of a room in a house. Hotel is like an average hotel.

All are good but there are not amenities like soap, and towel.

I made a reservation through Trip, but they said there were no rooms and asked for three times the reservation amount, saying they would generously give me a bigger room. When I said it was expensive, he said he would give me DC for 20,000 won and said it was good for a bank trip. When I went in, the floor wasn't cleaned so it was sticky and the yogurt had hardened and it smelled. Even if I travel again, I don't plan on staying here. The room was large, but it was cold even in mid-April.

It was clean and I really liked the view of the ocean. The room was warm so I slept well. I had a great stay. It's a shame the location isn't accessible by car, but it's good.

Pros: Good location for traveling to Seogwipo and good infrastructure around the hotel Disadvantages: Because it is a cheap room, the room layout is unusual and the bathroom is narrow. There was no toilet paper holder The regular price for hotel breakfast is 15,000 won, but you can get it at a cheaper price if you pay in advance the day before. I ate it once, but it still cost over 10,000 won, so I recommend eating Jeju-related food at a nearby restaurant.

It is located in the center of Seogwipo New Town, so there are many restaurants nearby (First of all, Seogwipo New Town is a small town). There is an E-Mart and a bus terminal within a 10-minute walk, so transportation is not bad. If you check in late, you may not be able to park in the hotel parking lot and may have to park in a nearby public parking lot, but the public parking lot is also almost full. The water pressure in the bathroom is reasonable, but there are no amenities so you have to bring your own. It's a bit disappointing that even though it's a single bed, it doesn't have one pillow. The room is reasonably spacious. The bedding is clean. The downside is that the temperature cannot be controlled because it is a central heating system.

Location was good. There was everything you needed. Unfortunately, it felt like it wasn't cleaned. For example, dust on a shelf. Other than that everything else was good.

The design of the room is quite unique. There is a receptionist who can understand Chinese at the front desk. The scenery outside the window is acceptable. There are many restaurants around, including Tushang Coffee. There is an additional fee for the rooftop swimming pool, but there is no way to visit it. Three point check-in rules are strictly enforced. Very close to e-mart.
