HOTEL THE BOTANIK SEWOON MYEONGDONG

I booked two rooms for three nights, paying over 1600 per night. The hotel's cleanliness was shockingly poor. Upon check-in, I immediately contacted the platform to request a refund. After 5 hours of communication, they still wouldn't let us cancel. They moved us to a different room, but the cleanliness was still terrible. We kept insisting on a refund, and eventually, the platform offered compensation. However, we still wanted to leave because the conditions were so bad they were ruining our trip. The platform's handling was incredibly slow. After two days of back and forth, we finally accepted the compensation offer, as we couldn't bear staying there any longer. We didn't want it to affect our vacation any further, so we decided not to extend our stay and booked a new hotel for the third night. The photos I took show cobwebs – it's unbelievable that a hotel costing over 1600 could be this bad. This is my first time leaving a negative review on the platform. I hope everyone avoids this hotel!!!

The location is great, right in Euljiro 3-ga. The room facilities are also good, with a washing machine and dryer. Four of us girls stayed together, and there was a big table where we could chat, do our makeup, and skincare every day. It was a very enjoyable trip.

The room was super new and apartment-style, with a fantastic breakfast spread. Most importantly, the location is unbeatable, right in Myeongdong. Step outside and you're surrounded by major department stores, supermarkets, and countless restaurants. Getting around is incredibly convenient and just excellent!
