Hotel Gracery Seoul

The room was quite clean. Although it wasn't large, there was enough space to open two suitcases. The front desk staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The shower allowed you to set the exact water temperature, so it was never too hot or too cold. It's about a 10-minute walk to the Myeongdong Walking Street and about a 15-minute walk to Seoul Station. Having a Starbucks and a CU convenience store right downstairs is super convenient, plus there are plenty of restaurants around!

I booked this Japanese-managed hotel well in advance. The room size is considered quite large for Seoul, and the bedding was very comfortable. The best part is the integrated unit bathroom—coming back after a long day of walking to take a soak before bed was just so relaxing. I actually caught a cold during those few days, and soaking in the tub really helped ease my symptoms. There were quite a few guests from Japan, Western countries, and Australia. The staff spoke good English and Japanese, and they smiled at everyone. However, I was only given a room on the very lowest floor, which was the one thing I was dissatisfied with. The location is decent. There is a CU convenience store and a Starbucks downstairs, and the surrounding area is quite lively with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. It takes about a ten-minute walk to get to Shinsegae Department Store, Lotte Department Store, and Myeongdong. So while it is a bit of a distance, staying right in the middle of the tourist hub isn't an absolute must anyway. Hope this review is helpful for your reference.

The room was clean and tidy. It's a bit of a walk from the center of Myeongdong, but not too far. There were no clear signs on the first floor indicating that the lobby is on the 11th floor, so it took us a little while to find it. The breakfast was a bit monotonous with no variation; by the third day, we didn't feel like eating it anymore, which made wasting a day's breakfast voucher a bit of a pity. However, at check-out, they asked if we needed help with our luggage or calling a taxi. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.

The location is excellent, with a Starbucks downstairs and an Olive Young right in front. Lotte Duty Free and Shinsegae Duty Free in Myeongdong are within walking distance. The room was very clean, with a separate wet and dry area, and the shower had great water pressure and was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Decided to come to Korea a week before National Day at the last minute, so the price was a bit high. The location is definitely in the heart of Myeongdong. There are many restaurants downstairs, making dining very convenient. They even provided face masks in the room. However, the room was really small; I don't think it was the advertised 22 square meters, so manage your expectations. Check-in was semi-self-service, which wasn't a great experience. The light and air conditioning control panel behind the bed stayed lit all night, and I'm quite sensitive to light. Also, remember to cover the small clock above the bed before sleeping, as it gets very bright at night. The photos are consistent with what other travelers have posted.

The hotel's location is excellent. The room, though small, is very cozy and well-designed. Downstairs, there are restaurants and convenience stores, all of which are highly-rated local eateries – any of them are delicious.

The hygiene was appalling. There were bed bugs on the bed, and I woke up covered in bites that still haven't healed after two days.

Japanese-style hotel. The room was a bit small but very clean with good natural light and city views. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area with a small bathtub, which was very comfortable. The location is great, very close to Myeongdong, making shopping super convenient. There's a Starbucks and a CU downstairs. It's also easy to get a taxi to the airport directly from the hotel. Recommended!
