I had booked my stay at Youngbin Hotel through trip.com, but I was overall disappointed and unsatisfied with my experience. Firstly, I discovered a methane gas leak at the bottom of the bathroom in my assigned room. This situation greatly affected my comfort and raised concerns about my health and safety. I don't believe a hotel should tolerate such issues. What was even more disappointing was the lack of urgency from the hotel staff in addressing this problem. I had to insist on a room change and even had to argue with them before finally being given an alternative room. As a customer, I expect the hotel to be more attentive and respectful of our needs. While other aspects of the hotel may have been satisfactory, this experience has made me question the overall quality of Youngbin Hotel. I hope the hotel takes customer feedback seriously and learns from this incident to improve their service quality. I do not recommend Youngbin Hotel to other travelers due to their shortcomings in handling customer issues and providing a satisfactory customer experience.

It's close to the station and I had luggage so I used the elevator at Exit 4. The room was much larger than I expected and I was able to relax. The bath had plenty of hot water so I was able to soak in the tub. I wanted to go to the sauna too but I was too tired so I'll use it again if I have the opportunity. There was a microwave and a hot and cold water server on the 4th floor. The man at the reception wasn't very friendly, but if you don't mind it's not a problem.

Although it is old, it is cleaned every day, and toothbrushes are provided and replaced. It is a little far from the Dongdaemun shopping area. But it is cheap and more spacious than the hotels in Myeongdong. The man at the front desk spoke Japanese and was very nice. On the way back, I took the airport limousine bus instead of the subway. The bus stop was quite close and very convenient! There was a mart just across the road, so I was able to buy souvenirs without going to Lotte Mart. The best thing about it was that they have a sauna. You can get a sauna ticket by asking at the front desk and showing your key. There were only regular aunties and grandmas, but I was able to stay in the low-temperature sauna for a long time and even though I don't like saunas, I was able to sweat a lot. I also tried a body scrub for the first time. It felt great. It was 30,000 won with shampoo. It was very interesting. I would like to go again. I recommend this to people who are used to Seoul.

I always stay here. My base is Dongdaemun, so I can walk there, and there's a bus stop nearby to go to Myeongdong, so transportation is not an issue. The underground bath is the best. Guests can enter for free, and there's a sauna too. I think the body scrub was 20,000 won... But the lady there doesn't speak Japanese. The front desk staff can speak Japanese, though... A taxi from Seoul Station costs about 13,000. A Korean hotel. Many of the amenities are gone, but shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, etc. All were in the room.

Walking home from the DDP wasn't too difficult. There was a convenience store nearby, and a Paris Bake shop. The bathroom had a big bathtub, and no problems with water pressure. You can't flush tissues down the toilet. You can easily spread out your carrier. The only outlet was under the dressing table. The room key was a hotel key with a Showa-era feel. lol You could hear everyone's voices. When you travel, all you do is sleep, so it wasn't a problem.

At first, I thought it would be close to the hotel from Dongdaemun History and Culture Park, so I took line 5, but it was really hard to go up the stairs all the way. If you have a heavy suitcase, I recommend taking line 3 from Dongdaemun University Entrance Station, which has an elevator. The room was spacious and clean, but it was inconvenient that the room and bathroom were not connected. I was also very disappointed that there was no shower curtain. There was also a window, but it did not open. I thought it was great that they had a converter for Japanese people that did not require an adapter. It might be good for night shopping, but the sauna is open from early in the morning until evening, so I was not able to use it at all. I wish they could change the time to a later time...

The Japanese-speaking man at the front desk and the staff are all very friendly, which increases your satisfaction. The room has all the amenities, lotion, and milk. Some parts are not cleaned well, but the room is spacious, it's close to the station, and it's good for this price. You can use the sauna in the basement from 6am to 6pm. You can get a ticket at the front desk. It's 25,000 yen for a scrub, and 35,000 yen with a massage. The scrub lady is kind, and the cheerful ladies who are regulars are fun 😆 The sauna was 50 degrees and 102 degrees. It's about a 10-minute walk to the main spots in Dongdaemun, but there are many things on the way, so it doesn't feel like it took that long. You can also walk to Gwangjang Market. There are several convenience stores nearby, and many restaurants. There is a Michelin-starred cold noodle (highly recommended), a seolleongtang restaurant that you can eat from the morning, and a famous bakery nearby. If you ask me if I would stay again, I would say YES!

All the long-time staff have quit, so the service is no longer friendly. All the amenities are provided, including a transformer and a bathroom scale, but the fixtures and towels are undeniably old. By the way, the bathroom door wouldn't close. It was built in such a way that if you tried to force it, it would never open again. The bathtub and toilet have been renovated. I think the price and location are great.
