Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun (Myeongdong)

I arrived a little early, and I was thankful that they assigned me a room. The female staff member who checked us in at the front desk kindly explained that it was a place with the best view and that there was a temple called Jogyesa Temple, so the bell ringing in the early morning could be inconvenient, but the bell sound was not loud, so there was no inconvenience at all. The temple called Jogyesa Temple felt like receiving a gift. The day I checked out was my son's birthday, and since my son's birthday was Gwaneum Day, I heard a lot of people saying that I had to go to the temple a lot, so I was thankful that I was able to go to the temple naturally. Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun Branch was located right in the middle of the travel itinerary, so it was easy to get around, and you could walk to the Blue House. Insa-dong was right next door, and I was able to hear a lecture by author Seoyoung Choi at the Kyobo Bookstore Gwanghwamun branch. It was a rich trip thanks to the planned itinerary and unexpected gifts. I requested additional bottled water, and the staff member who answered the phone was friendly and the staff member who brought me bottled water was also friendly. Although I couldn't say hello in person, I was grateful. I didn't see the name of the female front desk employee in detail, but I commend her.

The location is great. It's not far from Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanchon House, and Myeongdong. There are cafes and restaurants everywhere downstairs. The room is relatively small. The lobby is on the 8th floor and the decoration is very good. The BBQ we had in Myeongdong on the first day was expensive and unpalatable. On the last day, we found a BBQ restaurant on the left side of the hotel, diagonally opposite to the intersection. It's full of locals. It's delicious and cheap.

I deliberately made a reservation because this place had such good reviews. An outing to Seoul after several years. My whole family loved it, and although the room was a bit small, I liked everything else. Especially the location… See Insa-dong, Myeong-dong, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Cheonggyecheon with almost no transportation costs... There were many restaurants around. There is also a cafe. I deliberately applied for breakfast because it was delicious, but there wasn't much variety for the price. I was a little disappointed at first, but the taste was good and fresh. I will use it again next time!
