This was my second stay here, and everything was great again. The hotel offers a peaceful retreat despite being in a lively area, and the service is warm and welcoming. The cleanliness is also top-notch, with the room tidied promptly every day. You can easily get here from the airport by taking bus 6002 to Jongno 1-ga, then it's just a 3-minute walk.

The location is in walking distance to many metro stations so it’s very convenient. The room is clean and the service is good.
However, the are too few outlet in the room. We stay in 3 person room and there’re only 5 sockets (3 locations) excluding the one in the toilet so it’s a little inconvenient.

Location is good but the hotel is very old. Carpet in corridors is wrinkled everywhere, makes very difficult to move with luggage. We came to breakfast at 9:31 and the waiter didn’t allowed us to enter saying that
Business hours was over. Very bad experience. Never return to that hotel

The hotel's location is excellent, right by the subway station, making it easy to walk to famous attractions like Cheonggyecheon Stream, Gwanghwamun Square, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Insadong. Myeongdong is also just a 10-15 minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in the vicinity.
The rooms are on the smaller side, but they are very clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay.

We stayed at Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun for 3 days and 2 nights, and later booked another 2 days and 1 night after our staycation at Nami Island.
• Front desk service: The staff spoke English well and were very accommodating. They kindly allowed us to store our luggage during our Nami Island trip since we had another booking at the same hotel.
• Room quality: The room was clean and spacious. However, I personally didn’t like the wooden floor—it felt a bit uncomfortable to walk on without room slippers.
• Location: The hotel is centrally located in the city, within walking distance to Bukchon Hanok Village and Gyeongbokgung Palace, and close to several subway stations.
• Food options nearby: Plenty of choices, from traditional Korean BBQ to fast food like Burger King. Just note that many restaurants close around 9–10 PM.
✨ Overall: A convenient city hotel with friendly staff, good service, and easy access to major attractions. The luggage storage service was especially helpful for our trip planning.

Room was unexpectedly big. Stayed with my daughter and it was pleasant. Location is conveniently located close to Gwanghwamum & Jonggak. There were plenty of food around the area too.
