I enjoyed the location as it was located right within a bustling street with a wide number of restaurants. It was also within walking distance to Lotte World Mall, which provided convenient access to groceries, food, shopping, and also the metro system. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. When I arrived, there were visible marks, stains, and dents around the room (on the walls etc). This was a striking difference from the exterior of the hotel and the lobby, which looked impressive and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the room looks like it was not maintained in a long time.

The Hotel the Castle Jamsil is on a busy nightlife street. There are many bars, restaurants, and places for adults. Pros: Location, cleanliness, powerful air conditioning, and comfortable. Cons: small room, not many amenities, leaky toilet, and noisy.

Everything was good in the room. It feels all equipment are new and well functioning. The only thing I would recommend to potentially change is the hallway aroma which seems to be very intense. Other than that, a great place to spend a few days in the city of Seoul.

The room really comfortable. The position is good. Only 10 min by walk to go to seoul sky tower.

The hotel was clean and modern and the staff were very welcoming. Unfortunately the area was very busy and there was a lot of noise from outside which continued until early hours of the morning. The room could have been cleaner and towels were old and not enough.

The room is not very big but is definitely clean. The service staff very helpful even they can’t speak our language she will try their level best to assist us. They are very honest too because we forgot our ring and they manage to find it and return it back to us. The location have a lot of foods but just one thing if u are not someone who likes to drink maybe is not where u wanted to stay. Not recommended if you are travelling with kids

It was extremely dirty and the soundproofing was very poor. I could hear clearly what was happening in the next room. The wall was falling off piece by piece. There were inexplicable black spots on the bed and pillow, as if they were moldy. When I turned on the TV, there were small advertisements. But the front desk service was very good, and they spoke good English. When I told them about the situation, they refunded me directly. It was 1 a.m. at that time. If I hadn't really been unbearable, I would not have checked out.

On the first night when I checked in, there was a cricket at the door. I was shocked! The air conditioner was blowing towards my head, or I could only turn it off, there was no way to adjust it! The environment was quite convenient. There were various supermarkets and stores downstairs, and it was very close to Lotte!

Went to Olympic Park to watch a concert The rooms here are compact and fully functional. I like the free Coco promenade on the top floor, 17th floor, where you can eat instant noodles, toast, and various drinks. There are many delicious foods downstairs in the hotel, and there are several streets around. It is very convenient. Lotte Tower and Lotte Mall are 10 minutes away.

The location is convenient and the front desk staff is very polite. The lounge on the 17th floor provides simple drinks and snacks for free, making guests feel cozy and convenient. We stayed in a suit room with a large bathtub for bathing, which was very comfortable! Stayed for two nights and felt very satisfied and very cost-effective! 👍

I had to stay overnight because I had to do some work nearby, and the room was filled with a stinging bathroom smell, it was giving me a headache. I opened the window all night to ventilate, but the smell didn't go away. The cleanliness was also really bad. I won't go there again. The staff were friendly.

The hotel is near Lotte World. It is conveniently close to the subway and bus station. It is very convenient for shopping and eating. The Lotte Duty Free Shop is also one of the must-visit shopping trips in Korea.
