The room was pitifully small, and most importantly, there was a foul smell. I asked to change rooms, but the front desk said there were no rooms available, so I could either cancel the order or just put up with it. The key point was that it was already 12 o'clock in the middle of the night! I opened the window for ventilation and fell asleep. The next morning, I felt itchy all over, probably because of fleas...

Very close to Jongno 5-ga Subway Station. Exit 3 and go straight into the alley next to CU in front of you. The house number is on the left. Fill out the check-in form, get the room card and get free cookies. I stayed in a double room alone, and the bedding felt clean, tidy and comfortable. Maybe because there is a public area on the 5th floor for dining, there are no tables and chairs in the room, only small bedside tables. The bathroom is not separated into dry and wet areas, so be careful when taking a shower. In addition to towels, shampoo, shower gel and hand soap, other toiletries must be prepared by yourself. There is no exhaust fan, and there is still some smell even if the small window in the bathroom is open for ventilation. It's okay to close the bathroom door when sleeping. The hostel can't help it. Tourists from all over the world, even if it is mentioned in the check-in items to keep the noise down after 10 pm, it can't control others. The sound insulation is really bad.

The room was clean and it took about 10 minutes to walk to Dongdaemun.

It is a five-minute walk from the subway station. There is a convenience store CU not far away. The guy at the front desk can speak English and will explain in detail what to pay attention to. He will also give you a small snack for check-in and help with luggage when you leave. I also gave snacks, which was really a ritual. The room environment was good. The twin room was enough for two girls to travel for a short trip. The bed was very soft and clean. There was a small refrigerator and a hairdryer. Although there was no elevator, it was okay. Good hostel for your money! Close location to metro and markets. Three of us stayed in a 4-bed room, towels were provided, but small in size, a bathroom in the room + an additional room in the hall, shower accessories were also included. Very friendly and hospitable staff. There is a cooler with hot and cold water on the floors. The reservation also included breakfast, it was very tasty and pleasant.
The only downside is the smell of mold from the bathroom, since the shower is not separated from the toilet by any barriers and all the water spills throughout the room.

Excellent hostel for the money. Ideal location. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean! There is a common area on the top floor. Breakfast is included.
