New Seoul Hotel Myeongdong

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, Lotte Duty Free, and Cheonggyecheon Stream, with plenty of cafes and bakeries nearby. The staff were very helpful and communication was quick. The main entrance has stairs, and there's a small slope leading to the back entrance, but the signs aren't very clear, which can be a bit inconvenient if you're lugging suitcases. There was a used cotton swab on the carpet that hadn't been cleaned, but otherwise, the cleanliness was quite good.

The hotel is clean, and the service is good. The front desk staff speaks Chinese, which is a plus. The location is excellent, making it easy to get to all the attractions. It's close to both the subway and bus stations, and there are convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Gwanghwamun and Cheonggyecheon are within walking distance.

First time staying at this hotel, and overall, it offers pretty good value for money. The hotel windows are a bit small, but the room size is decent, and it's well soundproofed and quiet. There's an old congee restaurant right next to the hotel; you'll have to queue if you go in the morning.
