HOTEL U5

The hotel is at a convenient location. It’s foreigner friendly and the hotel guests are majority foreigners. I had requested a room on a high floor and they accommodated and assigned me on the 14th floor. The view is nice and there’s a nice breeze at night from the window which can be cracked open a bit.

We had a really pleasant stay at Hotel U5. The room was clean, neat, and comfortable—perfect after a long day of exploring. The location is a big plus too, just a short walk from Gwangjang Market and the beautiful stream nearby. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. Overall, a great place to stay if you want convenience, cleanliness, and a warm welcome.

Hotel U5 is situated in Dongdaemun, which is a great location — very convenient for getting around and exploring the area. The room was decent but a bit dusty, which took away from the overall comfort. I liked that they have a laundry room available for guests, which was definitely handy. However, you always have to go down to the reception to ask for basics like bottled water and bath towels — nothing is replenished in the room automatically. You also have to request for your room to be cleaned; it’s not done by default. And a heads-up: the ajumma at the coffee shop on the side was quite rude, which left a bad impression. Overall, it’s okay for the location and basic amenities, but cleanliness and service could use improvement.

The location is very convenient — just a short five-minute walk to the train station, right next to Dundemon Market, and with a convenience store nearby. The room was modern, new, and well-equipped. The only downside was that the room felt a little small, without much extra space for luggage or moving around. overall it was a very good choice for our trip.
