Cave Myeongdong

One of the worst hotel I ever tried, First of all the is one obstacle inside the room Makes the room so small and very inconvenient Secondly the air conditioner keep leaking water Like right on your head the sound of the air conditioner and bathroom fan is so noisy, I tried to turn off the air conditioner but it couldn't, made me have to sleep in very narrow space. Really really bad experience,

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS „HOTEL“!!! My sister and I booked 3 nights to stay and left as soon as we found a new accommodation. Not only is the hotel located on ridiculously steep streets, you also have to carry your luggage up a hill or take STAIRS. We arrived completely exhausted and drenched in our room, and found that the windows were NOT LOCKED. The room was on the first floor and we self checked in before 7PM. Yes, no reception no nothing, and they condoned a security hazard throughout the whole day!  The worst part: once I opened the bathroom door, I was hit by an overwhelmingly disgusting, musty, and foul smell, making me gag on spot. Upon taking a quick glance at the vent, it made all sense. There was so much dirt, dust, and most likely hazardous components, basically GROWING OUT of the vent!!  HELP! There was no way we’d survive 3 nights in this hazardous place. While looking up other accommodations, we noticed small flies crawling on the floor and walls. As if the foul smelling bathroom wasn’t enough, the room was also infested with flies! Honestly, I cannot comprehend the positive reviews at all. The price of roughly 31€ per night is not even that affordable, hence no argument to justify the horrendous state and condition of this hotel. Also, on our way out, we noticed that the hotel provides “new” towels at a self-service shelf. The towels were not packaged or secured whatsoever, meaning that anyone passing by could just pamper with them.  To anyone who cares about their health and security, I warmly recommend you to find accommodation elsewhere, because this hotel really does live up to their name!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cave Myeongdong for six nights. From the moment i checked in, the staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met throughout my stay. The location was perfect for my needs, situated in a central area with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. Whether i wanted to explore local shops, dine at nearby Halal restaurants, or visit popular tourist spots, everything was within a short distance.

The hotel was exactly like the picture. The location is very convenient because it is in the tourist district of Myeongdong. For those who are going to Seoul, the mosquitoes are really big and not a joke. The window shutters were torn, so I got a lot of mosquito bites.

Value for money.
