The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room is really big, great view of the tower. Its central so it’s easy to go everywhere and it’s not in the busy part of myeodong, so it’s quite at night, but there are a few good restaurants close. The only downside is the bathroom, but it’s ok.

Merlin hotel for us is awesome. It was a budget friendly hotel yet it was worth it. You’ll get enjoy free water, coffee, tea and banana cookies. Staff are friendly and very much accomodating. For our days stay in Korea we recommend the place. It’s near Myeondong too! Happy travelers here and for that 5/5 for Merlin Hotel. Kamsahamnida (감사합니다)

Great location, very convenient for transportation and nearby attractions. The room was clean and quiet. Would stay here again.

Will not go back again.
Washing machine was advised but when we asked if we can change room with functional washing machine, they said no.
No tap at the sink outside the bathroom. Only one tap inside the bathroom. Very inconvenient.
The stairs were narrow.
Had to paid deposit for 2nd room card, when we are a family of four.
No security.
Room was not clean, and very small.

The staff are very kind, accomodating and generous in many ways. We will stay here again one dqy. The location is walking distance to subway, bus station, market and very good restaurants. They speak english too.

It was a good hotel in a good location, albeit a little outdated. We booked a Namsan Tower View room, but couldn’t see Namsan at all so that was a little disappointing. We also kept being bitten the whole week we stayed there and couldn’t figure out why.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, they had great English and were quick to answer questions and queries, they were able to take in a delivery for me too, which I really appreciated.
The washing machines didn’t work which was unfortunate but there is a coin laundry just across the road that they gave us clear instructions to.
The TV worked great and had Netflix capabilities, rubbish was removed from the room daily and beds made. There was a kitchen area in the lobby for cooking and free water provided in the lobby too. The room had a full size fridge and freezer which was great for us.

Really good hotel with friendly owner... Just to consider that you might need walk a bit as your hotel located a bit far from subway and bus but still within walking distance. Near to Ediya Cafe ❤️

Little bit far from myeondong walking street by walk, but near the bus station. The lobby was really good, had the Namsan tower view and coffee and water is free for all day. Reception is kind and even helped me to pickup delivery.
