Property was fine, front desk clerk was polite and helpful. Room was not clean, stain on bed spread, something on the mirror, spill on the counter.

I feel bad about giving this property 2 stars. Maybe it was just room 123 (bottom left across the street from the main building.) However, the room was unpleasant enough to prevent my wife or I from getting a good nights sleep.
The primary issue was the scent - the room smelled strongly of air freshener. Both my wife & I woke the next morning with scratch throats.
The other issue was lackluster cleaning. The major items were clean but there was trash in the desk and trash on the porch.

The location is perfect - great food and coffee options. The room amenities were good too. Checkin and checkout was extremely easy.

I'd never been here before and my expectations were definitely exceeded. The room was kind of simple and no-frills but was charming and had everything I needed. The convenient outlet locations on the lamps and built into the desk were especially appreciated. The bed was very comfortable - not too soft. I also really liked the armchair. The tiny drip coffee pot was great - much better than the keurigs that most places seem to have now. I was in the back building and it was quiet. Blackout curtains truly blacked out the room. Overall it felt like this place had lots of little things that made for a nicer stay than you'd normally get at this price point. I'll definitely return in the future.

Staff was very friendly and had plenty to share about attractions in the area. Room was convenient and clean. I was able to park just outside my room, which was critical at the end of a 16-day trip. I was able to choose between pizza or Mexican within walking distance of my room. Housekeeping staff did a great job of cleaning my room during the day I was out hiking at Olympic National Park.

I had a nice stay. Nice quiet room. If I'm going to be bougie about it, the only thing I would change is better toilet paper and the mattresses and pillows need to be replaced.
