Hotels near Church of Saint Joseph the Artisan in Settimo Torinese

As cleanliness is a key issue at the moment (pandemic!) I must start with this - I have NEVER seen a hotel so keen on cleaning EVERYTHING so much, it’s like you leave a glass, 3 seconds later it is gone to be cleaned. The rooms absolutely sparkle as does the rest of the hotel - very impressed. The hotel staff and the restaurant staff are absolutely one of a kind (hotel wise) as they are so kind, polite, considerate (being that I don’t speak a word of Italian) and just downright superb human beings. The restaurant staff in particular (including the bar staff) were very attentive and just genuinely happy, smiley people - it was a pleasant, refreshing change. The food was to a very high standard, good quality, fresh produce was definitely used. And the chef(s) definitely knew how to prepare it! I did not go hungry on my visit, as I absolutely HAD to finish everything on my plate. All in all a very pleasant stay. The only criticism was that the ‘high speed Wi-Fi’ coverage was extremely poor - to get Wi-Fi in the room I had to press my device to the room door, and next to no coverage was found in the bar and restaurant. In the end I had no alternative but to use my very expensive roaming data. In the age when high speed Wi-Fi with good coverage is the norm, I found this to be very strange. But this is genuinely my only criticism, mainly because it was a slight inconvenience for the bonuses side of my stay.

In transit to the Great Lake, we spent a great night at the Green Hotel, complemented with a beautiful breakfast with salt,sugar,fruit, etc. (see photos). The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and was very comfortable and very comfortable. Free private parking for the car necessary to move to the neighbouring city.

What an incredible surprise! I booked this hotel as I was attending Eurovision in Turin. Hotels were getting booked up fast and so I booked Hotel Glis without doing much research. I booked a superior double room. Due to a change of plan, I had to change the booking from a double to twin room and contacted the hotel directly to do this, it was not an issue and this was sorted quickly. On arrival, the staff at reception were friendly and so welcoming. Nothing was too much. Every communication I had with reception was helpful, efficient and just really positive. Breakfast was great and of a really good quality. The room was so much nicer than I was expecting - I was expecting the photos on some trip advisor reviews, a bit dated looking (sorry!), but opening the door I was so blown away by the quality and standard of the decor. My dad was worried he wouldn’t be able to make tea/coffee but there was a kettle in the room and a fridge with complimentary water! We also paid for the “mini fridge top up” on two days and got cans of pop, snacks, etc. This was really great. The hotel booked our taxi to the airport on departure day and this arrived with no issues. We encountered several different staff members and they were all so pleasant and so helpful. Our room was cleaned and fresh towers were left every day of our stay - this felt luxury compared to the UK! We were a little concerned about the ease of getting around to/from central Turin to this hotel, as it does feel more geared at the “out of city” business travellers, conference attendees etc., however we paid for a 72 hour bus ticket for €10 each which allowed us to get on as many buses and trams as we wanted for 72 hours, and using the app “CityMapper”, figured out that if we get the 49 and then 8 bus, it was super easy to travel in/out of Turin. It took around 25/30 mins dependent on traffic. Overall, this hotel was the most wonderful surprise and we will definitely return here on our next trip to Turin. The hotel has a different concept than normal hotels. They have two floors for tourists and the rest houses students who come to the city. It is very well located, you can walk to the Historic Center. Our room had a view of the Po River and was clean, spacious, with a balcony, and the bathroom was equally clean, with supplies and hair dryer. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. They offer a breakfast that is not very varied, but the price of 5 euros is fine with the offer. The building is on a busy road intersection, and one of the nights it was quite noisy. In general we were very good and we appreciate the attention received.

I must admit I had my concerns. My first impression I had when I saw this place while booking it was that it is some kind of a youth hostel. Yet, I took the chance and booked it. I am glad I found this most welcoming hotel. This is a mixed facility. The first 4 floors are only for university students and the top 2 (5+6) are for hotel guests. The decoration is great, new and maintained greatly. They even installed a new decorative wall paper in our floor even that the walls were in a very good shape. The staff is great, both at the front desk and the Baristas at the open dining area. The lower ground of the hotel is amazing. It has laundry machines and dryers operated by a convenient app provided by the front desk. It has quiet learning area, a gym, cooking stations, table tennis, pool table and a large screen to project your movies. Breakfast is very basic, yet, the coffee is great. The rooms terraces face the interior yard in which students may gather and have some fun. Don't mistake, it is fun, not extra noise or anything like it.

Very good, the breakfast is good and the variety is richer. The night view of the room looking out is not bad.

Here is really everything, the staff is super facilitating and very nice. The hotel has great rooms with air conditioning. The hotel is located next to a fantastic spectacular golf course where you can be golfed at a reduced rate and, finally, the hotel has a great restaurant.

Booked this hotel for myself and my partner for 2 nights during Eurovision week for May 2022 back in Oct 2021. A friend also did the same on a separate booking. However, in Jan 2022 both bookings were cancelled due to issues with ”payment processing on card”. This was blatant lying, as both cards for both bookings worked fine. What really happened is the hotel knew it could get more for the nights in question with such a big event on in Turin (see prices for hotels that week vs. other weeks if you don't believe me) and cancelled both our bookings. Half hearted excuses were given ”I'm not the person who processes bookings” etc and a call back to explain situation further that was requested never happened. Conveniently, hotel is now booked out for same dates a mere 5 mins after cancelling our bookings. Management are clearly greedy and dishonest and attempting to price gouge during a time of high demand. Shame on them. Do not recommend lest you also fall foul of cancelled bookings

This stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. Rooms are of a good size and don't feel cramped in them, thwy are clean and organised. The bathroom is also of a good size with all amenities avaialble with good toiletries at hand. The beds are also of a good size and comfortable mattresses help you to a good night sleep. All in all it is a very good hotel worth the money.

I don't know why, it is very difficult to book a hotel, but fortunately I drive myself, not very far away from the hotel as always!
