The hotel is nice and rooms are updated. The eating area is very nice. The common areas are not updated or nicely decorated.
Parking is safe. Service is excellent. All staff we spoke to was great.

We only stayed one night thank goodness. I asked the staff upon check in for a room on the lower floor due to elderly with ambulatory difficulty. She barely grunted and gave me a room on the third floor. It only has three floors. The hotel was not busy at all! She was very rude and basically acted like a robot and never really acknowledged me. Awful service! The room was so small! I have never stayed in a room that small. It only had a shower and you could barely dry off in the area of the shower and toilet. I wish I had taken pics! The beds were uncomfortable and the smallest double beds I have ever seen! The only thing that was decent was the breakfast. I stayed here about 10 years ago and it was nothing like this! Never again for almost $200 a night!

Hotel is very conveniently located on the parkway at a traffic light. Easy in and out. Gatlinburg traffic can be brutal and the traffic light was a blessing.

Overall it was a fairly clean place and we were satisfied until bed time....when all the bugs came out. Three different kinds of bugs.....bathroom had little flying bugs, not sure what they were but l definitely knew what the next three were....small/young roaches. Then there was another kind crawling on the wall next to my bed. I took a picture and showed the desk clerk at check out. She just made light of them and didn't show any concern about it. I was very disappointed in her lack of caring about my complaint so l assume it is an every day occurrence there in the motel. l'm sure nothing will be done about it.
