The Coppleridge Inn

We visited for our anniversary after getting married here 2 years ago. We were given a very warm welcome with two complimentary proseccos and guided to our table. The garden room was lovely and warm, nice music, and prompt service to offer menus and subsequently take our order.. The food was lovely, its nice to have options of something a bit different. We are "food snobs" in our friends opinions and can be a bit picky. The Bibimbap and fish and chips didn't disappoint. The deserts were also amazing! We left with very full bellies, full hearts and looking forward to returning. The walk in the bluebell woods and a visit to the lambs are an absolute must. Thank you Tina and Graham. We booked this little hotel for after a very long and busy day visiting longleat and it was just perfect. Room was comfy and we all slept well. Breakfast was great too.

Things we loved: Location is very pretty with rolling countryside all around. Friendly and helpful service. Good food. Things we didn't love: Rooms were freezing, we struggled to sleep. The inn provided 2 mini portable radiators, but given the size of room and poor insulation, it wasn't enough. There were also hairs (cat hair?) on one of my pillows - easy enough to brush off, but not what you'd expect from a 4* hotel (though rest of the room was very clean). Too cold to consider returning.

Staff and food were excellent. Room was a little tired in places but overall good

Tina & her team kindly agreed to open especially to host a Wake. Everything was perfect- the communication, welcome, service, food & surroundings. Perfect venue for intimate or family celebrations, in a beautiful part of Dorset. Thank you, Tina & Team

This was my 2nd stay and oh wow, this place is so amazing! We ate in the restaurant on both nights, i had the Thai Green Curry and it was honesty the best i have ever had. We stayed in bedroom 4 this time, it is big, clean and the bed is just sooooo comfortable. We plan on visiting again in the new year, thank you Michael, Tina and Ruby, you are lovely

The Coppleridge Inn provides excellent food, drink and peaceful comfort. The staff are friendly, courteous and efficient and the bedrooms and bathrooms are scrupulously clean and well furnished.

Beautiful garden, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, very friendly staff.

We had a large family room, lots of space for 2 adults and 3 children. Lovely views, friendly helpful staff. Only stayed one night a stop over before a day at Longleat.
