Hello In last 4 years I stayed at this property more than 10 times since my daughter went to Bucknell University. I booked April 6 but since I am a cancer patient and I was urgently scheduled for a chemo treatment on the same day I tried to cancel and reschedule my booking. For whole one week I tried with the front desk and ********** to get a refund or reschedule the stay on May 12. The manager clearly said first that he is willing to do the change but ********** will not. But if they speak to him and agrees to waive the commission he will do that change. On April 3 I spent 4 hours on chat with ********** who tried every way possible to may the change., But the manager started lying and tried all way possible to make this thing difficult as much as he could. The agent on the chat told me honestly I have never seen a hotel making things so difficult before. The manager first offered me to reschedule. I agreed . Then he said he will charge me $ 30 USD more. I agreed. Then again he said sorry we have to add $ 24 penalty to it. I even agreed to that. Then he came back and said no he will take the full $107 and then recharge me for the next booking $ 152. This clearly shows how dishonest he is. I am wondering if the owner of the hotel knows that these things are going on in the hotel. I tried to call and get the manager call me back but from April 3 to April 4 ( 5 pm) he was so busy that he could not receive my call or make a call back. I was supposed to visit on May 12 and would have stayed here but of course I will rather pay more but wont book this place again. This is really pathetic how they treat their guests. On top of this the rooms were always dusty, washrooms are old and in terrible condition but never complained because we used just spend few hours at night and left every time.
