Hotel is in a very convenient location.. u can walk to the nanjing east street and metro from the left of the hotel instead as its safer walking near the road than the shady path on the right side. Hotel also allows taobao delivery and will help to congregate ur parcels together under the same name for ease of collection. Room was also clean but staff were not as attentive which resulted in a loss of luggage. There is also light drilling noises that starts at 7am which was not made known to me prior to booking. We placed 1 big + 1 small luggage at the hotel before heading to two other cities and only picked them up after we were back in Shanghai. Staff had stored the small luggage separately from the big one and did not check the number of pieces during collection so we ended up forgetting to pick up the small luggage and left it at the hotel. We could not deliver the small luggage to our airport hotel in time as it was too late at night and the staff wanted to charge us 200 yuan just to bring it over via taxi. Do not accept hotel's offer to book a taxi for u. When we left the hotel, the hotel offered to book a taxi for us to go to the airport hotel and said it would be 200 yuan which included the driver helping to load and unload luggage.. for usual didi, hotel doesnt offer this service and there isnt a proper lobby/drop off point so its hard for the didi to drop ppl off or even locate the lobby and it is hard to roll luggages up cos it is a slope. There were times the didi would jus drop us a whole street away. We agreed to the price but the driver asked for 250-280 yuan upon arrival at our destination and we were forced to pay 250 yuan.
