Great service from the start, and a special call out to commend Starry Cui who made the check in smooth and seamless. She took the effort to ease my check out too when she anticipated my short layover, and removed all the possible chargeable frills to quicken my check out the day after. Very convenient location, just around the bustling Nanjing Pedestrian Street. The only gripe is the stale cigarette smell even though it’s a non-smoking room.

The hotel is far from brand new but it is very well maintained. The location is superb, with lots of restaurants and cafes to explore in the area. Many of these cafes serve alcohol too, perfect for a quick drink in the evening. The hotel receptionist solved a technical issue quickly and upgraded our room to compensate for lost time.

This hotel is located on the edge of Xiayang Lake, close to the lakeside hiking trail. There are many parking spaces on the ground and underground garages, and parking is very convenient. The lobby is luxurious and exquisite, with artistic decoration and a large lobby. I didn't order breakfast for the room I booked, and the front desk lady was very considerate and sent two breakfasts, which was unexpected. I can check in at 11 o'clock in the morning. After asking the front desk lady, she said that I can delay check-out until 14 o'clock, which is really good. The elevator goes up and down quickly, the room is large and spacious, and there is a balcony. Standing on the balcony, you can see Xiayang Lake and the boat-style library in the lake at a glance. The scenery is really good. The breakfast is rich and varied. You can order dishes in the room and have them delivered to the room. Those who live in executive rooms can go to the executive restaurant on the tenth floor to enjoy afternoon tea and simple dinner. The room price is cost-effective and it is a perfect experience.

Service: Let’s talk about the service first. I have seen bad reviews online. I thought the service would be bad, but I didn’t expect it to be really good. The lady at the front desk and the lobby manager Xiao Wu were very enthusiastic. There were not enough supplies in the room and they were quickly provided. We have replenished the food. The chef in the western restaurant is very good. He is very diligent in replenishing the seafood. He also recommended special dishes to us. Both breakfast and dinner are good👍 Facilities: The hotel is a bit old and the facilities are not the latest, but the swimming pool is good. There is a pool that is a bit like a hot spring and very comfortable. Environment: I prefer a resort-style hotel with lawns and golf, but it seems to charge extra Hygiene: quite clean

It was a pleasure staying at this hotel. Its proximity to both the Hongqiao Airport and the Hongqiao high speed railway station makes it an easy choice. The services are the best and the people from the service desk to the maintenance crew are super friendly. When I tried to get from the hotel to the Hongqiao Airport / Railway Station, the gentleman at the concierge desk walked me personally to the basement underground connection to the airport / railway station without ever having to get above ground to fight the traffic or the ups and downs of stairs. It made the trip so easy. If you ever book a room there, be sure to call the hotel and ask them to send the map for the underground easy path. I had a hard time finding the hotel when I got there upon arrival, so be sure to get a map and use the underground path. It’s a piece of cake even with luggage.
